why dose it take 200 minutes. im on quad core i7 6 gb of ram. & in still complaining about time it take to convert at a high resolution.Slysoft is 200 or more.I want to do it 60 minutes or less is that possible?

i downloaded the program, that worked great. but a little heads-up, when i clicked "start" this came up: "A water mark will be displayed on the output video or the output audio will be limited to three minutes." Also, the conversion took really long do to. So, if u REALLY want to convert the dvd, buy the full program, dont wast your time with the little demo thing.

Good video! But it seems that the functions are limited. WinX DVD Ripper Platinum supports more output formats, like, AVI, MP4, MPEG, WMV, FLV, MOV, iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP, Apple TV, 3GP, and Zune etc.

There is no point in turning DVDs, which are 720x480 or 720x576, into "HD" movies. You will not see any quality gain, only the resolution will be upscaled which will make the file size bigger than it needs to be.

At the very least just do a 1:1 copy, just keep it at 720x480, and change the video bitrate to 1024-2048kbps (h.264 codec) and audio bitrate to 128-320kbps.

Oh and there are plenty of freeware software that will convert into MP4

I'm not against paying for an application by the way!!! Although i use autogk. It results in great quality output video, but up to dvd resolution, not high def.
