aluminium gets scratched, guys. ironically, tiny apple (fruit) seed scratched the bottom of my Macbook Pro. I didn't realize that seed on table and put laptop and dragged closer to myself and... ooooouch!!! :( the duplication of this scratch remained in my heart, too. :(

nope not at all! the aluminum is verrrrry durable! and really its up to you. if youd like to change the look of your macbook pro with some awsome protection get the satin if youd prefer to have it safe in a backback and like the look of the laptop as it just get the pouch. my suggestion if u had the money or want the best protection id say get both. good luck! cheers :P

it really doesnt fit. if you look on the side with the CD the kensington lock is covered, but that isnt a problem for most people

IMPORTANT TIP.. if you use it a lot, you will make a hand print on the comp, so use something like "iklear" ( get at apple store) or "monster screen clean" (at best buy)

iklear is better, and just spray it on the mark, then wipe it off with preferably a micro fiber, . and DONT use window cleaner on the screen... make sure you by spray and not to towels too.. and wipe off the spray, the mark comes right off

I didn't get the speck case, and if you are careful, you wont get any scratches, I would understand getting it because it looks cool, or because you have the white macbook, but i just dont see a point getting it for the macbook ( aluminum) or macbook pro

nope no problems at all! the aluminum is pretty tough! but it can still scratch so just make sure you wipe down the inside of your cover before you put it on and you should have no problems. i don't have any scratches on my macbook pro. thanks for asking man! im happy to reply to answer any questions my viewers have.

you mean the magnet adapter? if so yes it fits perfectly no problems there. Im going to be uploading a vid as an update. and i do talk about the headphones. yes headphones do fit...honestly i think that any headphones would fit just cuz there is always a piece of metal edging near the the plastic connecting to the wire and because the speck see thru satin is so thin it wouldnt interfear! thanks for commenting..im gonna subscribe to you. i subscibe to all my subscribers :P

hey man! yes you can. however i use apple, bose triport or bose in ear headphones. i dont think you could fit any straight cut jack in there. but the l shape ones like some sony ones won't. maybe ill do a video to show u :)

You installed wrong the Speck goes on the bottom right if you keep it like that it could damage your computer... FIX IT!

hey i did but it fits the exact same way lol. it was easy to remove and fix so i don't really know the difference with what way you it on.

If you read the instruction the SPECK word needs to be on the right lower corner not top.. if u look at it you would see the back and front part are different... I would recommend you a video in private!
