I used to watch TheCollegians withmy grandmother when I was a kid. Its hard to believe this was on every week and we all actually watched it. But its fun looking at it now. It was quite bizarre.
I remember one time when I was younger I went to see a taping of the dan rodricks show known as rodricks for breakfast. as part of a cub scouts trip back when dan rodricks had a show on channel 2. we got to walk right though the newsroom at wmar tv just to get to the studios where the show was being taped.
I actually searched the web for T Oliver Hughes Collegians, because sometimes I ask myself did I really see something on TV when I was a kid or did I imagine it?
It's like I was back in Paris listening to those awful subway buskers. And they were soooooooooo white! May I make a request for more T. Oliver Hughes poetry readings in that classic Bawlmer accent.
It's even worse than I remember.

I was on the show with my sisters (The
Bishop Sisters - songbirds of Baltimore) in the early 60's. My cousin was in the
accordian band. Fun memories!
