I need some help in converting my friends to vegetarians. They pull my leg so hard and argue that plants has also got life . I have no answer for that question. Every time I ask them to stop eating Non Veg they always come to same point. Help Me
@chintupawan hi,A few years ago I asked the same question to an enlightened being and he said that the difference is that altough plants have life they do not have a spinal cord and a central nervous system like animals do.So when the plants are killed it does not interfere with the process of their evolution.Whereas when we kill animals,because of the highly developed central nervous system and spinal column,their evolution is stopped and they have to suffer repeadely the same pain.
