  • yep

  • Hi Hitman 47.

  • who's your daddy? yeahhhh!!!

  • You are by far the biggest female reproductive organ on youtube.

  • Agreed.

  • The masked idiot. What a nuckfut. I'm gonna copy this video.

  • Okay you're right and all Mr. Scary Mask Dude, but you should take off the scary mask, dude. Maybe people will take you seriously.

  • Too bad the voice of reason doesn't get much publicity in media or power in governmental decision making. For example EFFI wasn't even heard during latest overhaul of copyright and criminal laws in Finland... instead they decided to hear people like Save the Children, who have not IT expertize at all, and the came with rules that banned making of back-up copies of DVDs and decided to censor the internet for "child porn" (and ended up censoring w3(dot)org. How much FAIL was that?

  • Great video I'm new to YouTube and I needed to know what all this DMCA crap is all about.

  • OMG Great suit Great video :D

  • One of your best videos yet. You hit all the salient points as to why the DMCA is dangerous and unconstitutional in its current form. This law needs to be rewritten so that it affords more protection towards individuals that fight it. I too was quite saddened to hear of Mr. potter's "solution" to the problem, no one group should have the right to say what content is more important(therefor warranting more attention from Youtubes legal department) then any other. Well said sir.

  • your a chicken shit fag bitch

  • Good video

  • Awesome Video.

  • oh before i forget i Rate this a ★★★★★★★★★★ not just 5 star but 10

  • Many thanks, ducksoup2006!

  • WOW this person is an amazing advocate well planed and concise report very good

  • Another job well done TMA ......

  • Indeed. ★★★★★

  • Definitely one of your best, TMA. Hopefully it will get some attention for the cause. I mean you're wearing a tie dammit! Fived, favorited, and featured. There's got to be a Luchador moniker in there somewhere with that suit, BTW. :)

  • Thanks cehbeach. I figured if I was trying to get a Senator's attention, then a tie couldn't hurt.

  • Good news the annotations are working again so I have a link to this video in my most recent one now. This video needs more views. Also I added it to my favorites.

  • I really appreciate your promoting this HappyCabbie. Your support is very important.

  • or maybe we should flood youtube with illegitimate DMCAs, aimed at all channels that do not have a video online that criticizes the DMCA policy, starting with the most successful ones?

it would need to be massive and coordinated, so that half of the all time most viewed and top rated disappear on a single day, something like that. and then continue this for a few weeks. either they run out of videos, or they fix the system.

  • Kurtilein3, this has to be the WORST idea I've heard in a long time. DON'T DO IT! SIMPLY DON'T DO IT! There are only three things this would accomplish.

    1) You would perjure yourself.

2)You would stomp on the rights of innocent third parties.

    3) Someone at Youtube MIGHT be impressed enough to say, "Tsk, tsk". Then it will be back to business as usual.

In addition, anyone who was caught following your plan would probably be banned for life.

  • themaskedanalyst: that was not entirely serious ;)

1.) would need to be done in such a way that it cannot be backtracked

2.) this might happen. however, if the attack is massive, they will simply restore all of those videos and channels.

3.) again, it would need to be massive. so even if i would want to, i couldnt do it. it would take the coordinated effort of a large group. viacom has been sending tens of thousands, so this would require a similar or even greater order of magnitude.

  • ... continued

so dont worry, its just a thought experiment really.

it would require a group like anonymous, or at least control over one of those botnets (if it can easily be automated).

but your concerns are justified, this would need to be big or it would fail miserably. if it works, the result shouldnt be that it just harms some, it should ruin youtube equally for everyone for a few days or 2 weeks or something.

  • Glad to hear you were not serious. Such things are fun to think about, but they should not be implemented in real life.

  • illegitimate removal of online material should be illegal.

this way, we could sue youtube each time they take down a video illegitimately.

or maybe we just need to find a different medium, and get youtube off the market. maybe we should start looking for ways to actively destroy youtube, get it offline somehow, or at least get that company into red numbers.

by the way: what do you think about the fact that venomfangX broke his promises and is still online?

  • Kurtilein3

Re VFX--just goes to show he is a sleezeball who was not at all sincere.

It's fun to fantasize making the illegitimate removal of videos illegal, but it will never happen. And if it did happen, you would probably throw out the baby with the bathwater. Youtube, and all other similar sites, would probably close down completely. None of us would be better off then.

  • Superfedz, have you ever taken one of those free samples that they give out at the grocery store to entice you to buy a product that's on sale? I hope that you have instructions in your will directing your estate NOT to sue the grocery store if you die because the food was tainted. After all, it was free.

  • What a great video! You bring up very fine, and valid points here. Well done!

  • -a truely fine video TMA.

  • Inappropriate as usual, just here to be seen yet offering nothing of any value.

  • yo tma nice suit,...it fits you well

  • I encourage everyone to favorite this and 5 star it. This is the best message I've heard in a while

  • A very good message -- hopefully someone with the authority and power to correct DMCA implementation or copy right regulation will watch it.

By the way...nice Windsor knot. Before you tighten it use a finger and put a small dimple in the center of the tie just below the knot. This technique adds style.

  • Word. Good vid.

You should wear that suit in all your vids lol

  • you have be kidding me, John McCain got 'DMCA'ed ...LMAO!!!

    nice find/work there my friend.

  • Nice jacket and tie

  • That's right!

  • You're looking suave TMA. Yeah, the letter is rather elitist.
