If you've ever made maps for source engine games, you would know that you can't play video in maps. You can only show footage of real-time videos. So for them to be showing video of the Borealis, they have to actually have it somewhere in the map. So anytime you see a tv playing something in HL2 or any of the source games, that video is actually being acted out somewhere in the map. So that clip of mossman getting attacked in the clip is also somewhere in the map.
I highly doubt that the Portal Gun will be in Half-Life two: Episode Two, considering that Portal happens around 80 years after Half-Life (or so I heard).
Well, most of us already know that you don't use the portalgun in in EP2 since most of us have already played it. I wish that the portalgun does not get included in episode three though. But i am however confident that valve doesn't mess up the half life series.

The ship belongs to Aperture (have you played Portal?), you can see their logo on the hull, and apparently the ship has some secret research that could stop the combine.

Thats Strange man... WHY IN HL2 there is BOREALIS PROPS like this door and other?... In HL2 not ep2 And ep1 not scenes with borealis... Maybe valve specially writed all the series of HL2 and now only creating them???....

Them and BM are competittors and what they where working on was bad of soming so thay had to take the boat and hide it some where safe. In HLE3 your mish is to go find it and do something (they dident tell us) with it. I hope there are lots of new guns and crap in it

im glad valve are putting there games on consoles now you must agree everyone pc or console should experience half life it may be better on pc but its still brilliant on console and valve arnt complaining about thr 85million the mad in the first 3-4 week from console and pc as long as consoles and pc get it im happy as long as valve keep amking half life im happy

episode 3 is out this christmas on all formats really looking forward to it especially seeing as how fantastic half life 2 eopisode 2 was it has alot to live up too but most of all i wanna see more open ended battles like at the end of episode 2

They are discussing putting a portal gun in episode 3 at the end of 2 u get in the helicopter and fly 2 the borealis....(you dont see this in-game) I cant wait 4 ep 3

The ship belongs to Aperture (have you played Portal?), you can see their logo on the hull, and apparently the ship has some secret research that could stop the combine.
