@fukimotoz Stevie is trying to emulate Raven so he is dressing like him. However Stevie doesn't quite get the way that Raven dresses, aka "something's missing". So Stevie does it half assed, for lack of a better term. Raven explained like this during a shoot.
Interesting. It sounds like that could have been funny, but I guess they never really made that clear enough to the audience. It could have worked if they explained it somehow, not necessarily in every interview, but often enough so that if you just tuned in you would get the joke. Maybe they could have had Stevie constantly ask Raven "What do you think of my shorts? Do they look grunge?" And Raven could reply "When I said grunge guys wear ripped jeans, I didn't mean THAT high!"
It happened once or twice. Like the second or third time Stevie turned up dressing like Raven. It was rather subtle so as to stay within the storyline and character. I don't remember which episodes or promos it was, just remember that Raven rolled his eyes.
@fukimotoz Because he attracts the homosexual market not that I know wether he's gay or not but homosexuals are an old target market of pro wrestling remember Gorgeous George
@seenoevil85 Actually guys like 'adrian adonis' and i guess 'gorgeous george' were typically heels because of their characters not to attract homosexuals but to draw heat from the fans...
atleast WCW gave him a decent push, its just that WCW fans were not that into him probably due to the fact it was full of casual mainstream fans at the time who didnt even get the gimmick.
Can someone explain to me why Stevie Richards is wearing daisy dukes and a chest high shirt.

@goat261
Raven was one of the hated heels in WCW. A fan actually jumped the rail and pulled him out of the ring when he was sitting in the corner.

raven was my fave wcw wrestlers along with Jericho (when he was heel). If only WWF didnt bury Raven when he joined.
when your debut feud is against a commentator you know wwf arent going to do anything with you lol (sure it was lawler but he was way past his prime)

Shame Stevie Richards Didn't join the Flock him Saturn, Kidman would have been great.
Raven said on a shoot left WCW because they didn't consider him a top ten guy with likes of Hogan Nash etc.
That is probably why the company went down for not using other guys aswell
