@lytekamarelle Thanks! I use Windows Movie Maker to capture all the images I use. I create original images frame by frame in Adobe Photoshop using various tools. I put all the images back into motion with Microsoft GIF Animator. And I bring the animation file back into Windows Movie Maker to set it to music again. So essentially I taught myself how to break the opening down to bare components so I could rebuild and add my own authentic-looking elements.
I don't remember James Reynolds being on OLTL as Hank Gannon; or if adding him made it look good, well this was certainly a good job, and I like the One Life To Live in the scene with the backdrop with the clouds and the sky and sun was a nice touch.
Thank you! James Reynolds never was on OLTL as Hank, that was just an idea by me, hope that means it was executed well! Glad you liked the OLTL logo, I'm not a fan of the current one on TV.
Your welcome, ABC should hire you to change the opening to make it better, and adding the sky and the clouds, is excellent, kind of reminds me of the original title "Between Heaven and Hell" which what Agnes Nixon had in mind for OLTL, I'm serious you got a great talent.
Thanks! I thought it paid a good tribute to old formats of the opening. The sun and clouds were an iconic image for OLTL in the 60s/70s, and I tried to pattern the text font after the OLTL opening of the 80s. Glad you liked it! Check out my other openings, I have some for a few different soaps!
Nice effect on the starting title shot. I would extend that to the end one and make it like the Peabo Bryson/Wayne Fitzgerald title so the faces remain in the closing shot. :)
Impressive! How did you put this together? what software did you use?
