amen. yes i agree 100 percent. its really sad that no one can even pick up the phone anymore to give someone a call. thats practically unheard of. and when it gets like this, thats really really bad.im tired of fake realtionships all together, i think if someone really cares about u even from a long distance they can still find other means to really know u and not rely on some applications form the internet to replace real communication. GOD made us personal people not impersonal. GBU all.
Good choice,I deleted my myspace a few yrs ago for this same reason,I do not have or plan to have a facebook page.I only use internet now for research, making a few purchases, and the occasional corny free game.....Oh wait a sec,,I'm addicted to youtube now,dam :(
The Internet and sites that utilize it are merely tools. To blame the tool for our own actions and judgements is the mark of immaturity. She was strong enough to realize that the tool was not right for the life she wanted to lead and stopped utilizing it. She at no time blamed Facebook itself for her own choices and judgements and I respect her for that. I also happen to feel she did the right thing. I have followed suit and my account is deactivated as of today. And good riddance.
I tossed mine because its ultimately pointless applying hind sight to the prior dated mediums. Being able to rip gps locations of photos uploaded to it really sealed the deal for me.
Facebook is overrated.
