    Someone please help me out

  • do you have to solder them in?im kind of confused

  • wut size bulb u use?

  • just buy a vw.

  • @AlexGraphy Great suggestion. Too bad the money you will spend fixing it will outweigh the cost of the LED's...

  • @covertrussian well, i have a passat, and.... theres nothing to fix on it. :D

  • @covertrussian what peanut bulb are you using? t10? t5?

  • dirty.....

  • Mine has a green filter over the cluster that make it green (97 expedition). Will this work?

  • I think red would be easier on the eyes for night driving.

  • Whats the name of the song

  • @EditedTheKG Webster Hall N.Y.C. Records - Bombclub - Liebe (Remix)

  • hey is there a way to change them lights on a 2001 holden vu ute (Im from Australia) to a red colour

  • i need help with this i have nissan altima 98 gxe idk what size are the dashboard lights

  • @phschicle HUGE. You can take it apart, take one out and go to your local autoparts store and compare. Or search the interwebs for a manual. I guess I can be nice too, but you people never learn to do it yourself then :(.

  • the bulb size is 194

  • thats filthy

  • hey where did you get your bulbs from?!

  • About a year ago I saw you vid and the links and did the same mod! I always get complements from first timers that ride my car! Thanks! Also, do you have an LED bulb in the hazard lights button?

  • @lcsoccer Nice to hear! :). Nope those are harder to deal with :(

  • Will the same bulbs fit in a 2000 acura integra for the gauges? thx

  • @FeriouseShuffle i was told (stil have to change mine to blue for my 98 integra) that 194 lights are the lights i need

  • this looks like a 96-97 accord, am I right? I want to do the same to mine, how many bulbs did you use all together?

  • @mandorocks55

    99 Nissan Sentra. 4 bulbs.

  • @mandorocks55

The car make model and year is in the description ;)

  • @covertrussian hey man can u tell what is so different about a regular bulb and an led one thanks

  • @0671085940

Brighter and longer battery life, new colors.

  • @covertrussian when u change ur interior lights how do u change the color is there like a painted bulb or something

  • @0671085940

Magical pills. Seriously dude, look it up on the web. I see your just crawled from under a rock and never heard of the LED technology. LED's are far more advanced and efficient then regular bulbs. They also have cool features like colors.

  • @covertrussian wow omg that what totaly hilarious 'magic pills' hahaha im still laughin while typing wow that was a good one

  • @covertrussian wow omg that what totaly hilarious 'magic pills' hahaha im still laughin while typing wow that was a good one hey most common bulbs for the dashboard are 194 right? im trying to get some on my car

  • @thisguyinphx :-). Yup 194's where on my car, take a look at the manual or remove the dash and double check before ordering a bunch :).

  • songs name?

  • @TheLexusguy94

  • thanks

  • whats up with the tarzan/extacy music in the backround?

  • @pawnstar365

    It's like mid 1990's techno :)

  • is it just the bulb you swapped out ??

  • so how many leds i would have to buy?

  • hey i wanna thank u for this video i can do it now... imma try it out... thanks a lot bro... really helped.. im just wondering which bulbs should i get? should i get whichever ones or has to be specific ones?

  • No problem man, bulbs can vary between cars. Check out the links in the description though.

  • @covertrussian so can yu change the colors of the lights like this

like mines arre orange can i turn them blue?

  • If your car has replaceable lights yes.

  • I have a question. What type of bulb did you use? cuz i did this same mod on my 95 altima and there are spots where the lught is very bright and spots where there is barely any light. Plus you can barely see the the needle thanks

  • I got them from Super Bright LED's, it's the 5 Led ones, regular LED's wont cut it. Look at the links in the description for locations where to buy.

  • @covertrussian i used the regular leds. is that why the light distribution is uneven?

  • Yup that will do it :)

  • Very beautiful!

    Congratulations!

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow It's a amazing how well one year old's can type now.

Simply put, jackass, this is to demonstrate LED's in a car that did not have them. Plus this demonstrates a very common misinformation piece. A lot of people think LED's are not dimable.

  • Where did you replaaceed the lights (i mean how!!) and where did you learned it!??

  • @thymen121 he must have learned it from Mr bean..

  • What song is that?

  • Webster Hall N.Y.C. Records - TranzWorld 2 - Bombclub - Liebe (Remix)

  • This should work on just about any car correct,as long as you get the right led bulbs...?

  • Yup, as long as your car is old enough to have replaceable bulbs.

  • i have an 01 eclipse, and it must need replaceable bulbs, becuase not too long ago the light behind one of the AC selector went out( just the far right)

  • Ah could be, vacuum bulbs don't last too long :).

Take it apart see what bulbs are needed and order them in LED flavor.

  • HAHAHA true that. that's what spakred my interest in doing this in the first place, it has an ugly orange glow, but i didnt know if the bulbs were that collor, or if the faceplate was orange and the light was shining through it... planning on takeing the cluster off tonight to figure it all out..

  • Ha good luck, they can be a royal pain to remove without breaking.

Most bulbs will be just amberish, rest would be a face place. Shine a LED flash light and see what light comes out, you might need to remove the film that changes the colors.

  • HAHA yea i beleive it... yea if it is the faceplate i'm hoping it will be as easy as just removing film...

like i said, i hate the orange, it's time to go.

  • Ha good luck man :). What color are you going with?

  • either blue or white. i saw your pictures on the forum, and they both look pretty sick, so.. havnt completely decided yet, the glow on my deck is blue, but either or would go pretty decently i think.. the white looked a bit cleaner on the picutres, i dont know if it was just the way the pictures were though.

  • I personally like the white more now, it does give a cleaner look. Get some extra bulbs if you are going to order them incase one dies :)

  • could this be done on a '90 240sx?

  • Probably, check your FSM.

  • what is a FSM o.o

  • Factory Service Manual, you shouldn't even need that. Just look up what kind of replacement bulbs you need and then order similar LED's.

  • .. this shit is looking soo right man! I'm just about to order gauge cluster leds for my 2000 accord.. wanted to get blue.. can u say if the red line on the guage face will show up using the blue leds?

  • Uh that will depend on your car. I'm sure it will all be one color.

  • how do u do it become auto dimmer ? i read ur manual it didnt explain it. if i change to LED it become automatic dimmer or .. ? certain car have it and certain does not have it

anywhere ur are awesome :D cheers

  • There is a dimmer switch right by the driver side vent and by the door ;-)

  • Badass!!! I have a 98 200sx which has the B14 body frame. So i should be able to replace them with the same steps you did right?

  • Yup gonna be exactly the same :)

  • wow. gotta respct that. i wanna do that to my 93 altima but i want the needles to be red.

  • this the kind I want.

  • how did u change the color on the ac unit

  • There were two little bulbs that need to be replaced. It will vary from car to car though.

  • ok cool i thnk one of them uses the same one you have and the other four are smaller. what would you reccomend would i be able to see which one i need to get like is there a label that says it? or are you just suppose to know? hahah

  • Your best bet would be to find a FSM (factory service manual) and see what bulbs are needed :)

  • hey would this work for honda civic? i saw ur tutorial and iwas wondering cuz my cluster has the same bulb thngs to pull out but they are different sized bulbs

  • You can take your cluster off, see what bulbs are used and then order from there :)

  • Are the LED's in the cluster 5mm 3.5v LED's or smaller? Or did you go ahead and use the 5mm.?

  • Haha not sure at all haha

  • I watched your tutorial, I didnt watch it before i replied and asked questions like a nub. Good tutorial, Im going to go try it on my accord, I like the white ones.

  • Ohh gotcha :), good luck.

  • Where do you get these kits from? Im getting a scion tC tomorow and i wana make it look nice by lighting up the gauges for under $50

  • Buy LED lights from eBay or other site and put them in. Your car is pretty new, so it probably wont even use regular bulbs, so LED's might not work...

  • nice i got a 03 sentra se-r spec v turbo and it came with a red led cluster already =P

  • NICE! i have leds in my dash as well...

  • not bad. im just waiting for my LED's to come on the mail so i can put them on my 95 civic. da only thing that kills it its ur sterio

  • Good luck with it :-).

Yeah it does, but it's better then some other stereo's.

  • how did u change them..im having difficulty removing the faceplate..any tips??

  • What car do you have?

  • VW Golf Mk3

  • Oh heh, can't say anything about that. Never been inside of those.

  • lol its kool...i saw a step by step tutorial on the net..

  • Love the Net :-D

  • hey i have a 95 integra and wanted to make the cluster look like an ITR but dont know if i should go with red or amber thanks. if anyone else knows let me know lol.

  • Amber should look pretty cool :)

  • i also just noticed that the LEDs make your needles that color. it there any way for me to do this and have a yellow needle?? thanks again man. and it looks awesome btw. not too brite or dim...just nice

  • Nope, because the needle gets its light from the same location as the rest of the lights, so it would require some modification...

  • hey man have you found that these tire out your eyes faster than the regular bulbs or something like that? does it get annoying after a while is kinda what im asking.

  • Nope haven't had any problems with them... You do know that you can use the dimmer switch to dim them right?

  • yeah i know but i was just wondering why they dont have blue in the first place. hopefully i will be able to get those leds sometime soon. i cant wait.

  • Because the cars are fairly old and LED's were too expensive at that time hehe.

  • i have been waiting for someone to make a proper tutorial on this. now for the leds you bought for the ac console, is their base significantly smaller than the base of the cluster leds? the reason i ask is because my cluster is lighted by two main bulbs and three smaller ones. the small ones are the same size as the ones that light up your check engine light and so on. i was wondering if the ac leds base is the same size as the ones for lighting up the check engine light base. thx man.

  • AC LED's are quite a bit smaller, in my tutorials for the AC consoles I specify which bulbs to get.

  • i know man. what i meant was there are little bulbs in the back of the cluster that light up your other lights like the brake light, the check engine light, the high beam lights and so on when you use them. i was asking if they were the same size as the ones you took out of the ac.

  • I believe they are completely different. The AC ones are way smaller.

  • but see thats what im saying. the ones that light up your other little lights are wayyy smaller than the regular bulbs. so i will order those and hopefully they will fit

  • hey how can i get my needles to get brighter...

  • Not sure hehe. If you got ultra white LED's they would be fine

  • upload that song please =] the build up sounded like it was gonna be good trance

  • It is a good song, one of my favorite older trance songs.

I'll see if I can get around to uploading it, probably have to convert to a movie first.

  • that build up part sounded like a slower version of the tune from Mikkas - Its a beautiful world

lol i was just listening to it hmm sounds SOMEWHAT familiar to this one. nice cluster btw i'm doing jdm amber

  • the needles.....

  • hey can you help me find out a way to fix them...??? please ...

    thank you.

  • Fix what? Lights or Needles or what?

  • nice job!!

i was planing to change my a/c control to blue LED but i didn't know the proper way until i seen your links...

    thanks for posting the vid..

  • Thanks! :)

    An no problem :)

  • nice job!!

i was thinking about changing my a/c control but i didn't know the proper way until i seen your links.

  • hey did u have any problems fixing the needles because i already installed the led lights and now the rpm needle goes up like crazy and it stops at 4.. please help me..

  • I did not touch the needles, did you mess with them?

If you took them off it's almost impossible to 100% correctly get them back on. My best suggestion is to not mess with them at all hehe.

  • i like it. very clean and nice. i wanted to buy indiglo gauges for my car but can't find any for my make so i might resort to this instead. all u did was replace the regular bulbs with led's right? nice job anyway

  • I looked at indiglo's and they were a bit too ricy for my car.

Yep all I did is swap bulbs and thats it :).

The process might be very similar to mine or much more complicated hehe.

  • gota get u a stereo with blue lights and you'll be matching hehehe. looks cool though!

  • Haha sure does, and actually the stereo is blue but has red buttons :)

  • the colors are sick but i dont think i could live with all that blue on my gauges every day

  • It's not that bad actually, at least now I know if I have lights on during the day :)

  • lol true

  • It's really not bad, you can dim them down if anything :)

  • o okay

  • can anyone tell me the title of that song because i like it a lot. thanks. also the gauge is very nice,, i went to get a glow gauge.

  • Webster Hall N.Y.C. Records - TranzWorld 2 - Bombclub - Liebe (Remix)

Thats what I have it as, but I can't find it anywhere! Love that song too

  • nice job. I have a b14 too and i know it must look great

  • Asi traigo la luz en mi b13

  • Sorry don't really know what your saying that, but from what it sounds like your talking about a B13. This is a B14. If you want to do the same on a B13, you will have a bit to work with.

  • Yeah man! I have a Sentra XE b13 and the light of gages is = blue LED

    That's all, greetings from Mexico

  • Oh awesome man! :-)
