  • Who does this idiot work for?

  • I will not watch part III.

  • Jon Stewart for President!

  • I couldn't finish your video bro... There is nothing that better fits the description of "propaganda" than this video. Not only do you chop up the video, add commentary, add music, you actually superimpose images on top of the footage. If you weren't trying to tell people the "truth", this would be a great piece of satirical media. But since you're actually trying to say that it's true, it's just retarded propaganda.

Oh well. Take care, and try to get some student loans so you can go to school.

  • your video sucks

  • I don't want to get into an opinion/counter opinion conversation, you're entitled to yours and I think your video is pretty great.

This audio, from around 20:00 minutes and for the next while, discusses, in part, the jon cramer/cnbc shows they did, and the thought process behind it. You might like to listen to it. Might not.

  • This video is so fucking epic!

  • You made some very interesting points about the uneasy relationships between politics and the financial industry, but I was on the fence until I heard that riff from"Money for Nothing" come on and drown out the rest of the audio... "Money for Nothing"! It's a song with the word "money" in it - and it's a video that has something to do with MONEY. Dang, that was on point! And the rest of the song... something about moving refrigerators, I dunno... But "Money for Nothing"! How brilliant.

  • This video is absurd. You can take any comment out of context and make it look any way you want it to. I'm not Jon Stewart apologist, but this video is just stupid.

  • fuck cramer for misleading the investors

  • screw u son Jon Stewart is funny as hell GO FUCK YA MOTHA ya right wing assbag

  • Might have been a decent clip, bu the music and dough boy makes it childish and unwatchable, I made it to just over 3 min.

  • part 2 was removed already.. guess you forgot to put the fair use disclaimer at the beginning.

  • Wow, impressive financial knowledge from a YouTube contributor who clearly has a poor grasp of English.

Tell me, is Capitalising Every Word In A Caption really the best way to make your point?

It is easier to preach if you can convince your intended audience you are educated.

  • Your video is very selective, itself and fucked, to be frank. Sounds kinda NeoCon and propagated. What you are denying is what is really happening.

    ALAN GREENSPAN

The weird thing about this is that, you are making a video about a comedy show. it's a joke on real news. What happened between stewart and cramer IS HUGELY RARE AND WAS FACT.

You are arguing that water isn't wet, pretty much.

The second thing is you are trying to gain credibility from shitting on a comedian.

    How FUNNY of U

  • Jon Stewart for President!

  • yeah its about whem did he said such things, you just compilled statemants, of course jon sys to be fair,, and tells the rest of the coments like whem they where said

  • i think hes just triyng to stop the omslaugh of fox propaganda war wit really is a bunch fabrications,, like the acorn, birththers, obama school kids indoctrination,,if john has it wrong is only once or twice,,check out fox there mostly wrong..msnbc isnt really foxnews advesary, its john stewart, only one guy..

  • so the rich dont wanna pay taxes who hoo big news,, but they do want the mone from the government

  • Everyone Jon Stewart mocks deserves it. He's more trusted as a news source than the actual news media (where you will actually find smug people) because he uses comedy to point out hypocrisy and wrongdoing. Not to mention he is more respectful of guests with opposing viewpoints than most real news media (especially Fox News) If this weren't just a useless youtube video, he would eviscerate you just like Cramer.

  • Anyone who actually followed this Cramer vs Stewart debate, Is laughing at how pathetic your video portrays the events. Honestly the best thing was the horrible sound track. Could have used atleast 20 more 2 second clips, to attempt to prove a point out of context. In short i'll use the e-term that best describes videos that fall so far below par.

    Fail.

  • well said

  • Then you'll happily provide a counter-argument, right?

  • Obama continues to tank and I love it

  • I began watching- then-Cramer a life-long Ddemocrat, sorry kid- facts count. Try again-sometime.

P.S. Half the democrats probably agreed with him anyway-so its academic.

  • John Stewart you rock my world and pwned Cramer.

Also, aside from taking things out of context, this video also puts words into Stewart's mouth. At no point in time does he attempt to blame the financial crisis on CNBC. Because that would be stupid and John Stewart is very, very smart. He takes them to task for claiming to be an authority and not asking CEO's tough questions.

And he rules. Unlike this irredeemably stupid video.

  • I hope South Park sues the shit out of you, Mouthpeice.

  • Stuck on stupid, how exactly did John pwn Cramer. So I quess when he interviewed sununu and dismissed the fred/fannie because repub rhetoric(400billion), gotcha. John is lib hack plain and simple.

  • I don't see any conspiracy here... if that is what you are implying...

He is just using the best material for the times... and since america is fucked financially for a long time... then making comedy about the crash and those who missed it is the best material to use... and I laughed coextensively myself. Jim Cramer is an idiot, and with most other anchors on cnbc, he is paid to advertise these stocks for the various companies... as john does point out.

  • yay spell check... extensively*

  • Jim might be right, Jon might be a hypocrite. But they are both members of the zionist jews take over the world club.Along with Bernake, Tim Geithner, kissenger, all bringing communist new world order to the us.They are stealing over one trillion dollars a month using the federal reserve.

  • Are you fucking stupid?

  • I believe the correct term from a zionist jew would be "Dumb Goyim " As for my statments They are facts I can backup ,most of which with video .The Cap and trade bill is a big jewish money scam .Goldman Sachs will steal Trillions from the American people trading carbon credits.

  • A simple 'yes' would have sufficed.

  • But I am not simple minded like you ,Bob,You need to do some homework.Cap and trade if it passes the Senate is going to hit your wallet just like mine.Goldman sachs will make trillions off of trading carbon credits.

  • If you believe in a Jewish Conspiracy, then you also believe in monsters under your bed. Say 'Heil' to Hitler for me when you see him in hell.

  • Simplebob ; say hello to the six million jews who were gased by him when you get to hell , you genocidal ,babie killing jew

  • The ability to properly place a comma doesn't make a person a jew, you know.

    Racism is stupid. The End.

  • Then why are jews so racist? Why do they commit genocide on the Palestinian people. Why have they sealed the people of Gaza up into a box and are starving them to death? Now they have captured X- congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney and are holding her. When all she did is try to bring food to the people of Gaza. Why are the zionist jews so bloodthirsty?

  • I'm certain there are racist Jews. Stupidity knows no color or religion. But I'm equally certain that not ALL Jews are responsible for the crimes you are accusing them of. The Middle East is a fucked up scene, and while I don't claim to have the solutions, it remains doubtful that they will be found in hatred, generalizations, or conspiracy theories. If you care so much, find something constructive to do. Otherwise you're just another nut-job on Youtube, masturbating with words.

  • You are so brainwashed.I cant believe you quoted a cartoon as one of your arguments.I can send you a y/t/ vid of a group of israelis sitting on a hill watching the bombing of Gaza by jews.A woman in the group says," We are facist, we want all of Gaza blwon up" You are the nut job backing these genocidal killers.

  • You know, even the guy who thinks the Reptoids are running things has proof. Scientologists have proof too. Everyone's got proof; apparently it's not hard to get.

I have zero interest in seeing the cancer of thought you call 'proof'. You're painting an entire people with a very broad brush and, not incidentally, you're full of shit.

Do you have any 'proof' that I'm backing genocidal killers? Because that sir, is a very serious charge.

  • Win.

  • Second of all, Jon's parents lost all their assets in the economy that's why he "suddenly" cares.

In fact, the Jon has jumped on both sides for this, When the companies went bankrupt, he was on that. Hes been on this new government when they make mistakes.

  • Jesus Christ this video is fucking retarded.

First off, the unprofessional clips from movies attempting to be funny makes it totally unwatchable. If you have a point to make, try making it without putting childish bullshit all over it. Conservatives, you all suck at humor.

  • There is nothing you have shown, that states Jon is a hypocrite, rather you're showing him stand up against what he sees are blatant misuse of media. Jon has a comedy show. Cramer is on a news network. He just wants people to own up to what they claim they are. He has done so in numerous venues and is not afraid to go to other shows on other networks either.

  • This video is a little too much edited toward bias but everyone has a right to their opinion. One thing I think taken erroneously is Jon Stewart. He is a comedian and not a financial consultant. If you think Stewart is a financial journalist I suggest you look at reality of his career. Jim Cramer is a financial analyst but no one should 100% trust financial analysts because the stock market is dynamic and can change erratically.

Nice try but a little too biased.

  • Jim Cramer made fraudulent comments and Jon called him on it. They are both comedians. The both sell snake oil, (Jim said so himself) but Jim pretends he doesn't on his show.

Jon doesn't pretend what he does isn't comedy.

  • i think everyone should watch the actual interview and decide for yourself if stewart was wrong and not listen to this hannity lovin fuck head

  • Watched them for myself, and Stewart is wrong. Stewart should take his own advice: politics is not a f*@king game, and he constantly takes jabs at the right by misquoting and misrepresenting facts. The reason Obama and democrats are winning young voters is because young voters watch The Daily Show to get their political info, and you know I'm right. I don't agree with Mahr at all in his views, but at least he tells his audience to not be a bunch of lemmings and think for themselves.

  • i watch the daily show and i wouldnt vote for obama if you paid me. even cramer was agreeing with him half the time and the other half was him trying to clear his own name. and let me guess the orielly factor is your favorite show

  • Lol dude, shut up. Everybody on both sides accuses others as misrepresenting facts. What Mr. Stewart is advocating for is that the news media clarify these kinds of things. You dumb fuck if you watched the interview you would know that he says several times that this isn't about CRAMER!!!

CRAMER WAS PRETENDING HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!! OH MY GOD IT WAS IN THE VIDEO THEY SHOWED OF CRAMER DOING IT HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is all about hypocrisy.

George W. Bush and the Republicans in Congress wanted to set FM/FM straight. Democrats said 'fuck you' and pushed for FM/FM to offer low income people loans they didn't qualify for (at Barney Frank's direction). Then, suddenly, it's all George W. Bush's fault?

The video record of what Congress did is on YouTube, look for yourselves.

Sanity should have told Stewart that spending 5x the deficit doens't put new money into the coffers to cover the initial shortfall.

  • quite a jump to conclusion when you say he blames cnbc for the ponse scheme. He was just attacking them for doing such a soft interview.

  • Wealth Destruction 101

  • You're a F*cking idiot.

  • Wow, love that White House Press guy. He's just as articulate as Obama... "Ah, um, well, you know, uh, ah, um." Uh huh. What an improvement. We're so much better off now.

  • The only smugness shown here is you own!

CNBC clearly gave bad market advice, and Cramer was no exception. Stewart was not only blaming Cramer, but the entire financial news media for being in bed with large corporations and advancing their interests and not the interests of investors.

  • Comment removed

  • this video is biased as hell, totally leads ur thinking process. bottom line is jon stewart is a comedian, jim cramer is not..... who is really more liable for what they say? jim cramer gets exposed bad. if u watch interview by itself. without all the leading txt nd cutting nd pasting....

  • Because Stewart is a comedian he isnt liable for his opinion but seems like everybody else is, hmm. Seems like a cheap cop out by a man with a writing staff. I give Cramer credit for having some balls.

  • did anybody else notice that cramer didn't even fight back? he knew that stewart was right that cramer is part of the problem, not the solution. as stewart said, 'it's not a fucking game'.

  • Someone should put Jon Stewart in his place. Who the heck is he? Would he be able to do a show without his team of writers. I'd like to see him look someone in the eye when he talks to them like that.

  • he does so all the time

  • Great JOB!

  • this is what happens when amateurs make videos from their parents' basements. they make claims like mutual funds are derivatives. that's just plain not true. mutual funds actually own the underlying assets. also it's funny how this fool makes fun of jon stewart for hiding behind comedy when he hides behind propaganda, lies, and fake names.

  • You have not addressed whether the assertion that Jon Stewart hides behind comedy (he does) is true.

  • Imagine that - a comedian using comedy to make a point. What's the world coming to? Dummy.

  • what a lame video, u spent way too much time on this... cramer is a tool....

  • This should be on TV

  • Ghost Busters!

    We need Government Busters!

  • Love the first 13 seconds. Great stuff.

  • ROFLXD And I love your comment. I know. the first 13 seconds are amazing.

  • Jon Stewart is a comedian that works on a comedy news show on a comedy channel. Why is he such a threat? Why does anything he say get taken as "the word"?Maybe if people started looking for the real news of the world instead of having it handed to them from a comedian or anyone reading from a teleprompter, there would be more knowledgeable debates and reform happening.Look for original sources.Go to Congress and Senate sites.Don't make me spell it out for you,and don't be intimidated by a comedian.

  • One of the big problems is how popular he and Colbert are on college campuses. A lot of college students listen to them, and their very liberal instructors, and don't really question much what they're being told.

  • Nazis in action is what were witnessing people.

  • Stewart is a moron.

  • I don't agree with this entirely bcs Cramer didn't voice apologies at first, he attacked. When you get your hand caught in the cookie jar you say "I'm sorry (not half-assed), I thought this was going to happen and I was wrong." Do you think if he took this approach at all this story would have gotten the same amount of attention? He tried to protect his past inccorect predictions but you can't defend them when they are proven wrong on video.

  • Stewart was a hero for asking a simple question. How come NOONE saw this coming on CNBC? The supposed financial network didn't see anything coming and Stewart jumped on this irony. I say hero because he had footage that painted Cramer as more of a villain than a guy who just made some lousy market calls. You have to remember Americans need to release their venom and Cramer was an innocent victim. People need these outlets right now and unfortunately he was thrown under the bus of irony.

  • Sure, creating phony bogeymen is a real benefit to everyone. Stewart laid covering fire for the real culprits. What a hero.

  • @dirtynas Low-level bank managers and finance guys were whispering about the housing bubble and overvaluations in the market for months before it popped. I got a warning about two months ahead of the crash from a bank buddy who said that the other shoe was going to drop- if these guys had a strong idea then surely the "masters" of finance knew more about it. But by then those guys were selling off their stocks at the high point and placing bets on options and derivatives before the crash.

  • Jon Stewart said Fannie and Freddie weren't to blame.......that shows you how credible he is. Total douche bag.

  • Whatever all these negative cry babies are saying about our President... sure does not jibe with what our 'market" is saying...

"the free markets" are speaking clearly and loudly....it is good! things are looking pretty good, the bottom is here....

You cant have it both ways...

We market is soaring because of our new leadership.....

But of course will never admit it.

  • ?!?!?!

One week of good markets doesn't cancel out the 50% drop it sustained in the first place. Under Bush, the stock market achieved record numbers, but there was a time bomb ticking underneath it all. in 05, congress tried to do something about it, but Barney's Frank, Dodd, and anyone who was high up in Fannie and Freddie opposed any corrective action. This is well documented.

Add to that, every time big-O says anything about nationalization, the market tanks 300pts.

  • LOL... do you have any idea how much debt there is now?

You're being enslaved. The government is taking over the private sector and stealing your money.

Oh, never mind... just go back to sleep. Ignore the facts. Ignore reality.

  • MouthPeace. Good. : P 5/5

  • he never blamed CNBC for the market collapse. He said CNBC was careless with presenting their information. Watch the show properly and don't take clips out of context to prove your invalid point.

  • Oh, he places no blame on them? He blamed them for nothing? Are you kidding me? You cannot be serious. He blamed nothing on CNBC? Wow. You watched the Stewart spot and came to that conclusion?

  • Wow, thank for you reading my comments properly. I said "he never blamed CNBC for the MARKET COLLAPSE". He blamed them for pretending as if everything was fine and misleading people. They have to be accused if they call themselves "Financial News channel" because people tune in for advice. If they can't take responsibility for their content then they should remove their title. One more thing, Jon said I believe you guys could've done a better job at informing people.

  • @TheMouthPeace Because the is the truth, you right-wing nut.

  • If I remember correctly, derivatives were a problem in the 80s and were banned then.

  • jon stewart is a tool.

  • Five Stars!!

  • oh my god. You don't get it. Jon never CLAIMED to be the news! CNBC and Cramer did! This was'nt becasue if obama, it was Santelli who started it, by calling people losers. God damn it. lol. He critisizes Obama all the time. Btw, how much time do you have, if you make hate videos deticated too Jon?

  • Since when did Jim Cramer pretend to be a news show? He hits buzzers and throws plastic toys! Stewart has on presidential candidates. That is...as Jon Stewart would say "A Cheap Cop Out"

If Stewart is going to ask Cramer hard questions he should do the same with his pet politicians...and stop criticizing others for doing what he fails to do himself.

  • But he is on a network that claims to be "FINANCEL NEWS" Cramer is a smart guy, if only he did'nt play in the Wall Street game. They say "In Cramer we trust" Jon is on Comedy Central. Jon is expressing what alot of people feel.He can critisize when the news media is'nt doing it's job. He ask tough quetions aswell. But when it comes down to it, it's NOT HIS JOB! And it's sad, that Jon becomes so frustriated with the news, that TDS focus on things, the news should.

  • Can't you see what Jon was trying to say? He did'nt blame Cramer for the crisis. He blames him for not doing the proper reporting he should be doing on a FINANCEL NETWORK. They just played along. It's not Just cramer. It's the news media in general. Here Jon becomed the journalist, when he should'nt be. Why? Because nobody else is doing it! You could atleast be grateful that someone is exposing it. It's a comedy show. Jon expresses his feelings, and outrage of the media, with the comedy.

  • FINANCIAL. Look it up.

  • ooookay.. whatever. lol.

  • "derivatives spread risk"? $683 TRILLION in derivatives did in fact spread risk. Now we have so much risk we don't have any place to put it.

God comparison of the "blame Jim / don't blame dems/Fannie".

And the music is great. Thanks to fair use, I'm going to buy some of this music.

  • True, but it was the leveraging of those derivatives at 30 to 1 that killed the banks. They were thought to be totally safe. Derivatives have been around a long time, and this did not happen. A mutual fund is a derivative. Leverage was the problem, not derivatives.

However, some derivatives should have never been allowed, like subprime mortgage backed securities. They create too much moral hazard.

  • "A mutual fund is a derivative" Huh? From what I know about a derivative, a derivative is a bet that a stock, bond, interest rate, weather in Poughkeepsie, etc., will go up or down, etc. A mutual fund actually owns stocks, bonds etc. Think of the story about people betting on a horse and then someone backing up one bet, and another backing up whether the insurance on the bet can even be paid. That's a derivative. What is the real investment in that story? The horse and nothing else.

  • No a derivative is a security based on the "derived" value of a set of underlying assets. You are describing an option, which is indeed a "bet". A derivative is broadly any security whose value is made up of many small component pieces, like thousands of mortgages, for example. A mutual fund share is essentially a derivative based on the value of the component stock and bond shares in that fund. The concept is the same, although we do not generally call mutual funds derivatives.

  • BTW, an option can also be a derivative. It's value is based on a value derived from an underlying asset.

A mortgage derivative is not an option, yet is still a derivative based on the value of thousands of mortgages. It is a mutual fund of mortgages.

Not all derivatives are options or futures.

My point is the concept is basically the same. A mortgage derivative is like a mutual fund of individual mortgages.

  • Thanks for the clarification and that makes sense. Especially since options can be derivatives. Derivatives like you say have been around a long time. My concern is that we're so worried about leverage which in and of itself may hurt, when you add all the other option/derivatives (non-CDS, but hedges on that CDS) on top of this, that just magnifies the problem even worse.

  • StayPuft marshmellow man as Gibbs! hahahha right on Mouthpeace.

  • The last time I tried to watch Jon Stewart I almost broke my TV and had to go to anger management. The man is one of the biggest lairs out there besides his buddy Keith Olberman. All that comes out of Jons mouth is vile, hatred crap.

  • liberals are very smug

  • Oh and they smell like ass too!

  • Excellent video! I've been telling people to look up Jim Cramer and Bernard Madoff on Newsmeat, I didn't know about R. Allen Stanford. Funny how political party affiliations are omitted when reporting on Democrats, they even tried that with Blago early on. Good catch MouthPeace

  • Failure.

  • Typical straw man from Robert Gibbs and the democrats.

    THANK YOU MOUTH PEACE!
