  • and exactly WHY DOES THIS VIDEO HAVE SO MANY THUMBS DOWN?!

  • I habe Photoshop Cs4 aber ich sehe deiner "tutorial" fern weil es ist sehr gut! Please excuse the german, i don't speak it well even though it's my 3rd year.... ^_^'

  • Don't worry, your German isn't that bad.

If it's easier for you, just comment in English next time ^-^

And thank you, I'm glad you like my tutorial.

  • wow, that method seems so much better than mine :O ive been using the shape tool over and over until my lineart was finished and it takes so long Dx but i guess your method wont work to well with me either cuz i dont have a tablet :(

  • ow, you're using shapes? I understand why that takes forever. But with a mouse, yeah it makes sense. It's really hard to get a decent line with a mouse. I admire your patience.

  • thanks xD i just work with what i got- i only have a mouse so i just swallow my pride and get it done

  • quick question, when some people animate, they sometimes change there line colors like from black to red. How do you do that or can you on this version??

  • I'll make a few screenshots 'cause it's hard to explain with just words - I'll send you a personal message ^^

  • yourr likee amazingly funny!

    ozofod moglifl knlonkk

    hoei gtez u htrzvi !!!!

    GOODBYEE FELLOW!

  • Thank you ^.^

  • ich leibe dich :) ich wohne in irland.

  • This tutorial is really cute ;o

  • yay, worship ^.^

    I'm glad I could help.

  • lol, why would I be offended by being compared to one of the x-men.

I never heard his original voice. I looked for a scene, but I only found clips set to songs. :(

I made a CS3 tutorial when I was asked to. I downloaded a trial version back then (30 days usage).

But it basically works like Photoshop Elements I'd say. Some minor changes, but the basics are the same.

  • Is my accent that strong?

I don't hear my accent myself, so I'm wondering if it sounds like those German accents people do on their parodies.

  • not exactly, but you were close.

I said "I wish you a nice day, too"

  • XD Ich wünsche dir auch einen guten Tag.

You knew it? did you recognize the accent?

  • How do you make your line art smooth?

  • I use the eraser tool a lot to cut ugly edges and things like that. I also work with a graphic tablet instead of a mouse what makes it way easier to get good lines.

But I admit that sometimes I have to draw the same line over and over again until I get a result I can accept.

  • you have the cutest accent*bubly eyes* Though this DID help alot =D

  • aww, thanks ^^

  • love the little characters and ur accet this will really help me thx!

  • no problem.

I'm glad you like it ^^

  • so if thats photoshop elements and has an outlining/pen tool, then photoshop elements 6 must have it too, right?

    because i cant find mine...

  • The version I use doesn't have a pen tool. So I have to use the brush tool for the lines. It's not really an outlining tool, it's rather suitable for doing the coloring part, but if you use a dark color (black in most cases) it works for the lines as well.

  • i dont think my has a pen tool either ^ ^;

i havent got my tablet yet, so im uneasy about my finished product. yep i only have one :(

i asked because your lines are soo smooth, so i thought you had a pen tool

  • when you draw in a large size and shrink the result afterwards, the lines look smoother. I also use the rubber to sharpen the edges. and of course if I don't like how the lines came out I do them over and over again. lol, always looking for perfection...

  • i dont think i have a rubber tool, but i do gave a sharpening tool

  • Oh, I have the 2.0 version of photoshop. I guess many things have changed in the newer versions.

  • lol i guess so ^ ^;

i still have no clue how to do half the things on it...

  • just experiment with the features for a while and you'll find your own way to use the program ^^

  • How do you get your lines so straight and smooth? Mine are all bumpy...

  • Do you use a mouse or a graphic tablet?

  • I use a mouse, is that my problem?

  • It's really tough to get nice lines with a mouse. When using a tablet you can employ some kind of pencil what makes it easier to draw.

  • ^^ I'm glad it helps. I wanted it to be easy understandable and yet informative. I've seen tutorials that expect you to already have experience what makes it hard to follow it if you're a beginner. I tried to avoid that so that everyone could actually learn how to work with the program.

  • AWESOME JOB

  • lmao! another great tutorial piece, rainy! too bad i can't draw worth my life, or i'd use your advice! 5/5!

  • THANKS THANKS THANKS, i have finally found someone ho tells it an show it at same time and in normal tempo

You are also funny sometimes :O

  • ^^ thank you, I try my best to explain it understandable without making the video too boring

  • This video helped me A LOT. Thank you for the upload. 8D

  • ^^ makes me glad to hear this actually helps people, that's why I make these videos after all

  • Didn't you know that that's what artists do when they are upset? LOL

  • cool whats next
