  • FUCK HUMAN BEINGS. we are the scourge of the earth.

    that shit is just unreal.

why isnt the name of this farm listed so that something can be done.

    TELL US THE NAME!

  • Lets stop animal cruelty in our lifetime.

  • I have now been pushed over the edge, I hate this world and I hope all mankind dies

  • OMG,the poor goat with the dead baby stuck in her!! WTF!! Does no one ever check on them? She must have been in agony! And the swollen udders!! Those people should be in jail!

  • K.as a vet nurse.Let me play devils advocate. All the kid goat curled up is natural behaviour.Kid goats can die within ten mins,Especially when young. Its common 4them 2die,Especially if they r twins. It doesn't mean they were neglected. In the wild mothers nd kids mix.Yes it is overly cramped and ther shud be more room.

  • This is aweful! I hope you did something about it...like sue them!

  • My parents have 5 acres and 3 goats just as pets, plus 2 dogs and 2 cats. And I have to tell you goats are adorably endearing. They are smarter than dogs, as fun and cuddly as cats, and as innocent and trusting as little children. I love them. As an animal lover and vegetarian this video makes me sick, and disgusted to be human.

  • hahahahahaha look at the pregnant goat! XD goats are so stupid I can't wait to eat some of these guys

  • as a goatkeeper I find this very distressing, especially the loud distress calls.

  • would it really be that hard to have a few acres to let the goats run on for part of the day? or to pay a few people some extra money to stay overnight with the does to make sure birthing goes well?

  • FUCK the human race. I really hope we go extinct real soon.

  • Kill yourself now and make it go faster.

  • I only have one question, after going to a farm and filming the shit that happens there, do you really follow the case? or do you just hope someday it will get better?

  • goats yay

  • this farm would be fine of they had ventilation and seperation between kids and mothers and clean living area and it woud be absolutely fine and no dead goats

  • That was sick and wrong did anything happen to the owners of the farm?

  • many cattle dairy farms do this

  • wow thats creepy... all of them were stareing

  • Good job for uncovering the brutality~~keep it up.

  • I heard that the rspca had new rights to intervene? Surely this is a blatant case of cruelty. Why can't you report this after filming?

Does having a farm make you exempt from cruelty laws in some way, why?

  • The RSPCA does have new rights to intervene under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and farmed animals are not exempt. If cats or dogs were kept this way, there is no doubt that prosecutions would ensue so you are right to question why the law is not applied to farmed animals, when it should be. We ask the same question all the time.

  • Animal Aid does routinely report farms that are dreadful to the RSPCA but as farming is inherently cruel (high mortality rates accepted; the killing of kids and calves routine etc) they would have to prosecute just about every farm in the land. In our experience, the RSPCA has not taken action even when the cruelties are absolutely blatant but that does not stop us reporting farms to them, as there is very little else we can do to help those animals.

  • Incidentally, we also report farms to Trading Standards and Animal Health - but as with the RSPCA, very little action is taken. The only reason I can think of why such bodies turn a blind eye to farmed animals is that they support the meat industry and don't want to admit the routine suffering of animals because this would damage the industry.

  • Animal Aid has visited and filmed in dozens of farms and we have realised that there really is no way to farm animals humanely on a commercial basis. And that is why we firmly believe that the only way to end these cruelties is for consumers to take action themselves - and to choose not to buy the products.

  • This is very interesting, thanks for posting.

Perhaps I could humbly suggest some form of organised (public/recorded/filmed) debate between AnimalAid and the RSPCA in which these points of evidence (and you have evidence) can be brought to the RSPCA for their attention and comment.

The RSPCA is a deeply trusted organisation and your allegations against them are serious and it would therefore be in the public interest to hear from the RSPCA on this issue.

    Thanks for posting.

  • RSPCA are just as bad.

  • @AnimalAid While I agree that this video is sad and that kind of treatment is uncalled for, you should educate people about the whole goat industry. Not just the bad. You should explain the difference between a commercial operation and a feed lot. The farm in this video while being a commercial op is also a feed lot. Not all feed lots are bad like that either. You mentioned that there is no way to farm animals humainly on a commercial basis. That's complete BS.

  • @AnimalAid I've been running a commercial goat farm for 2 1/2 years and it DOES NOT look like that. The problems between producers and consumers start with organizations like Animal Aid, RSPCA, ASPCA, and HSUS. You only show consumers the bad, never any of the good. Then us good guys get a bad rep because you don't educate about the "normal" farm. I urge consumers to educate themselves but with all the info you "trusted" orginizations provide they don't feel they need to. Tell the WHOLE truth!
