This really wasn't what I was looking for in a SC2 Zerg how-to video. I was hoping for something like a step-by-step basic-to-advanced tutorial. Instead you appear to have made several incredibly short specific strategy videos, which isn't what I'm looking for.

Now, perhaps I'm doing it wrong or something, but I noticed you never mentioned Queens. You can spawn them fairly early, and they let you push more larvae from your hatcheries. But is it a good investment? I've been using them, and pumping enough larvae from three hatcheries as I would from 9 in SC1. Though, maybe I'm wrong?

man...fucking zerg is pissing me off already. I started playing zerg from my first game on a ladder. I have played like over 100 games and lost around 70% as a zerg. My average apm is around 150. I know the build orders such as 11 pool fast hatch, or 7 roaches push, or ling+muta vs terran pretty well. I couldn't get out of the Silver league with zerg. I though I suck at sc2 so bad that I stopped playing sc2, but then I decided to played a bit as a protoss and I got in to Plat league in a week.

I just started playing like 2 days ago, I love Zerg but i suck with them so much, I just played my friend (protoss) I tried to use your strat as much as I could, I sent over waves of zerglings in the beginning to try and shut his resources down. then I started expanding my basses, I had 3 good up and running basses, by the time I started producing those fucking bat things middle game he came and shit all over me with like 6 of his unites. I'm finding zerg to be VERY VERY underpowered.

@SnipednSnicks As a new player, there is great benefit in practicing your hotkeys, control groups and build orders (sandbox mode or vs AI). You will get used to the game faster without the pressure of a ladder match. Blizzard ladders are meant to be accurate to your skill level, so jump online at any time.

this is great and useful to me. but doesn't it take a bit for larva to spawn again? because then that will make massing an army in a single base harder. unless you're making zerglings` it's hard to amass many units. not to forget` the other races can have many of a single building in a single area jsut to make a whole army. most zerg players wouldn't put more than one hatchery in their base. so that would be a con for the zerg.

Hey, I just wanna say your probably one of the best and descriptive Zerg players with and actual base touch of strategy's, unlike the rest how just post and repost the same strategy's such as a banglings bust, or roach rush etc, I appreciate your knowledge of the understanding of Zerg and their passive aggressiveness, I have always struggled with Zerg, but because of your videos I have developed a better play style and improved my game play by a ton! Also, a lot of these stips work for the other 2 races expecally protoss with a proxy pylone. for exaple splitting units to distract, works with every race and its very nice.

Thanks, I needed this so i can use zerg a lot more effectively . I played a game recently where i just kept sending my lings and roaches into his base and kept losing them. Later in the game he ended up overhwhelming me with his marines b/c i kept wasting my larvae on lings and roaches. After watching this it won't happen again ^.^

@charmer4you Yep just keep in mind to take out those "clutch units" medivacs, siege tanks, sentries, colossus etc and get outta there if you dont feel you have enough forces to totally defeat your opponent. In my ZVT part 2 video, I talk about how I just took out his marauders, then later just hit siege tanks and that was enough to delay the guy cus marines dont do jack by themselves. Check it out.
