  • I have a question about abs. What is your natural abs suppose to be like? Held tight or let loose and big? After I eat, my stomach pops out like I'm pregnant, and throughout the day it gets worse the more and more I eat. But now that I have been working out alot, when I stand with my stomach tight and straight and tall, I see some muscles in my stomach and my stomach is actually flat. So how do I know what my REAL stomach looks like? Standing straight and tight or letting lose?

  • Hi! I don't want to lose weight and just want to gain muscle but this is really hard for me because if I follow a diet and exercise regime like yours, I seem to lose a LOT of weight and become very skinny :( My BMI is less than 16.5 :( I may just have a fast metabolism but I still want to get muscles without losing weight! :S So my question is, how do you maintain a healthy body/weight when eating healthy and exercising regularly/How do I stop losing weight if I follow a clean diet and exercise?

  • @LeekaLisa My shoes are from Nike and I designed them myself. No I haven't, but I'm going to Brazil in March so maybe I'll check it out :)

  • @msmom2one1 I'm sorry to hear about your surgery. Sometimes giving your body break is not such a bad thing. However, that being said, I think diet is more important than exercise when it comes to losing body fat. If you are trying to build muscle, you can still use upper body weights, pull ups, shoulder press, bicep curls, low rows. You can do certain pilates leg exercises too like leg circles and leg lifts. If you can't exercise, focus on eating a healthy diet!

  • @loupremo I did do it yesterday! I added 4 reps to each move though which I noted in the more info and it was challenging! I also added some Vsits in the middle.

  • I just had surgery on my foot to remove a sesamoid bone, any suggestion to keep my exercise routine going, of course without the use of my foot!!!! Right now motivation is the toughest for me due to some pain but I know me, the longer I stay away the easier it is to stay away.

  • @msmom2one1 upper body work and work your legs either sitting or lying on your back or stomach. Are you on crutches? Is your plastered or pinned? If it's pinned you could swim or do aqua aerobics

  • @Aydiez91 45 minutes - but it really depends on what it is. If it's small you could go sooner but if you have something like a bowl of oatmeal, 45 would be good. If you workout in the morning, something small like 1/2 banana w/ peanut butter is sufficient with about 10-15 minutes.

  • @Layla8710 I think it would be a good reminder to keep your belly button tucked in but it won't reduce fat on your stomach to be honest. It may help create the illusion it's flatter but I've never used one to give an informed reccomendation

  • This is random, but do you have a recommendation for good workout socks? A lot of the time my ankle socks will slide down the back of my heels and end up under the arch of my foot when I am working out. I CAN'T STAND IT!!!!

  • @aelievense I understand your pain. I like Old Navy's, I also like a pair of @NewBalance ones I got at Fitbloggin' last year. I hate the thin ones and they need to be cotton.
