  • Excellent!!! Just watched on The Twilight Zone. "Come Wander with Me," originally aired May 22, 1964. But this is only the first stanza of the song.

  • You Can't Do This To Me!

    I'm Floyd Burney!

  • this is by far one of the most haunting twilight zones for a reason!

  • seriously? not one comment is gonna mention bob dylan? come on. well he alledgedly wrote the song "girl from the north country" about either bonnie or echo helstrom, each being high school sweethaerts.

  • Tragic Allies - Come Wander.

    Now that's a great sample!

  • A Haunting song - becoming an underground Gothic Classic...

  • Twilight Zone!

  • Tears to my eyes

  • @GerbendeJong always...

  • sooo beautiful.

  • watching Bonnie Beecher performing this song in the Twilight Zone I would have loved only her. I think I would TODAY !! I know I would ! She is 69 now I am 61 it's doable ! !!

  • Great song! Very strange! Twilight zone is a great TV show!

  • does anyone think that gary crosby looks like a mix between anthony hopkins and neil patrick harris?? (specially from 0:35-0:40)

btw, nice song, it brings such peace that is indescribable

  • Gives me chills... Its so beautiful. this was a creepy episode, wasnt it?

  • Exquisite. Absolutely exquisite.

  • This is my mom singing in this video. Bonnie Jean although she has now changed her name.

  • @Swirv71 She still run that camp in California?

  • @gpwerner yes, Camp Winnarainbow

  • @alexandriakerrigan Thanks, you must have been there before. Sounds like a beautiful place.

  • @Swirv71 I would love her today beautiful woman and voice tell her that for me I'm 61

  • she was just as beautiful as her voice

  • beautiful lyrics, amazing voice.

  • Good? This is simply one of the most brillant things made in this planet.

Vincent Gallo asked YouTube to remove this from its data a few years ago. And they did this. You know, the song is part of "The Brown Bunny" OST. Maybe he bought its rights. So watch out!

  • The French band Chinese Man used this song as a sample in the song "He said". You should listen to it... It's worth it too.

  • he looks scared or at leas like he has something up he's but what the hell

  • everytime i hear this song makes me feel like im in (THE TWILIGHT ZONE)

  • he said come wander with me love,

come wander with me, away from

this sad world......he came from my

sorrow an can love only Me....if you

    meet someone like this...dont ever

    let them go.....zone girl

  • Is this from an episode of Twilight Zone?

  • Not an ounce of pretentiousness.

  • Just saw this episode of Twilight Zone tonight

  • @seonfox

me too! this night! 10 mins ago :p

weird episode compared to others if you ask me, but ...in a good way

  • such a beautiful voice, so soothing.

  • There are many songs in this world that touches yr soul but there are only a few that makes u escape the harsh reality...

this is one of those songs!

  • Word. Me too.

  • Old boy who was listining; keep gettin' shot by her boyfriend for talkin' to her and can't escape the reality.Shit is crazy.

  • I bad tripped so badly when saw that episode for the first time.

  • you should check out Stella Dawes on myspace

  • see was the real girl from the north country,in dylan's song

  • eerie episode, beautiful song.

  • this is actually one of my favorite episodes. just watched about three hours ago. thanks for posting! love the tune. poor floyd...

  • Cinema art at its best , Like good vintage rock this type of art will never be repeated. Just a very strange episode. One of my favorites , wish I could find it on vid or on the web

  • I'm with you Rational. I just saw this episode for the first time all the way through last night, and this really is the last GOOD episode of the series. Bonnie Beecher will haunt my dreams, thanks to Richard Donner's moody lighting and unique camera angles. This episode is one of the most dreamlike of all "Twilight Zone"s. The sad underscore at the end of this episode really is a fitting elegy for one of the great TV shows of all time.

  • yeah, it is actually a really good episode. It has a haunting old romantic quality that is almost intoxicating in a way. Good stuff.

  • "Come Wander With Me" is almost universally panned as the worst episode of the entire series, but I don't think I could possibly disagree more. It's got an unforgettably icy, gloomy, and foreboding atmosphere about it, aided in no small part by one of the most hauntingly beautiful melodies ever composed for a half-hour television show.

  • Thanks for uploading this! This song has haunted me ever since I saw the Twilight Zone episode. It's nice to know I can come here to listen to it. I looked for it on Itunes but they don't have it.

I'm not sure how to download it from Amazon because when I purchased an audio book from them I can play it on my computer but it doesn't show up on my iPod...obviously it 's me not knowing how to do it correctly ;)

  • wooow bad acting on the dudes part, and she's got crazy eyes. Beautiful song though.

  • That dude you're referring to is Bing Crosby's son.

  • creepy and beautiful song...that makes this song perfect.. that combination

  • Classic episode--the modern man, his head filled with visions of easy money and fast cars, incapable of understanding the true beauty and mystery of this thing called life.

  • Twilight Zone is one of my favorite shows. her voice is gorgeous! :]

  • I'm want to cover this song being so beautiful and sincere.

  • this song is very creepy...but somehow i like it idk why i like...i just do and she does have a pretty voice.. i love the way they sounded back then

  • this song is really creepy, and beautiful, when you combined that both things make this good song... i really love this song

  • He said come wander with me love

    Come wander with me

    Away from this sad world

    Come wander with me

    He came from the sunset

    He came from the sea

    He came from my sorrow

    And can love only me

    Lyrics are beautiful and haunting...

  • I'm watching this episode right now! She has a gorgeous voice, I can't stop listening! Thanks for uploading!

  • Vashti Bunyan? No!! The voice is too low for that.. It's very much in the style of Vashti though..

  • That would be Vashti Bunyan singing. Dub over. sorry.

  • Hautning and gorgeous. The rock band British Sea Power cover this song on their new, mostly instrumental album "Man of Aran". They changed the melody slightly, but it's still lovely.

  • Beautiful. Thanks a lot! :)

  • why is that man looking so weird?

  • Because the male actor's dad was Bing Crosby. But seriously, the male character is just eager to exploit the hillbilly female and steal her beautiful song so that he can record it in rockabilly style to further his career. He had just coaxed her into singing it for him so that he could kipe it.

  • Love this Twilight Zone episode-- especially because of this song!

  • She works at a hippie camp in Northern California now with Wavy Gravey

  • Someone please ask her if there are more stanzas of this beautiful song that didn't make it into the episode. Many TV and movie soundtracks from the golden era of Hollywood wound up in a landfill to build a freeway in LA. They weren't appreciated until recently. The studios got tired of storing them. Many of these orchestral arrangements and songs had additional lyrics that got cut in the editing process, but were worth preserving.

  • beautiful voice! is it me or is the expressions on their faces slightly unnerving

  • what a beautiful voice!!

does anyone know where i can see the whole episode? I just love it and i cant find it anywhere!! contact me!

  • I would look on hulu.

  • where can i download it??

  • Yeah, I miss her, what a voice! Only Randy Watson's version is better than this one, he played Joe the Policeman on the What's Goin' Down episode of That's My Mama.

  • what a voice

  • beautiful sweet song

  • I love her voice

  • So beautiful ...

  • creepy how it all ends in this episode....my favorite is ''the miniatures''....its just sooo cute!!!

  • she used to date bob dylan before he came to NYC

  • lol, he looks pretty retarded taken out of context. its from an episode of twilight zone, hes kinda impatient cuz he just wants to make money off the song, so hes like "yeah, awesome, now shut up and lets go make some money"

  • what is wrong with the guy in the video? if a girl would sing this awesome song to me with such an adorable voice i would either directly fall in love or start melting away ...

this is probably the best piece of melancholic music ever produced!

  • Yeah, I dated Bonnie Beecher

  • the song is so beautiful

  • she really is beautiful. Even though its old.

  • song is great but the episode is a bit paradoxical. the new vid with the same song plays with a similar idea and expands on it.

  • The episode is very cerebral - it's a conundrum, but oh so clever! It's my very favorite TZ episode. THE PASSERSBY, another TZ episode, is a close second.

  • My favorite is episode 90, The Fugitive. ^^

  • Greensleeves repackaged

  • Nooo, lol, but what an interesting assertion!

  • JadeHijq, try the chords Am and Em. Also watch vid from astridster on YouTube.

Good luck on this nice little song.

  • does anybody know the gituar accords?

(sorry for my bad english XD)

  • she was in an episode of star trek, spectre of the gun, played checkovs girlfriend

  • Какие они оба страшненькие! Но песня замечательная и голос тоже!

  • The episode this song was featured in originally aired on May 22, 1964- and has been repeated all over the world ever since...

  • It was sweet to see and hear it. I sang this a long time ago. I forgot how good my own voice sounded to me at the time.

  • You have an exceptionally beautiful voice Mrs. Beecher

  • That was YOU? OMG.....

  • I bow down for thee. Your voice is very beautiful and mysterious.

  • I have always loved this episode, and your singing in it. How nice to see your posting here! Wonderful song.

  • What's the name of the show?

  • "Twilight Zone"...the episode is called "Come Wander With Me"

  • i reallly do like the Twilight Zone

  • that my mom bonnie beecher singing and acting. i get chills when i hear it. no lie.

  • wow thats your mom?

  • This has always been my favorite Twilight Zone episode and your Mom is a beauty; I hope all is well

  • that should be on tv

    lol

In holland they use it with an advertisement for i think insurance or something, you hear it all the time ;)

  • yep you are right. The insurance company which you talk about is RVS.

  • I love it!

  • this song is briliant, you picked the perfect part out of the scene

1 of the most calming songs i ever heard,, i put it in my new video :P this is the kind of music that should be on tv

  • oh its beautiful! is this song from a movie?

  • As I think it's from an episode of "Twilight Zone", a television serie

  • The episode is called "Come Wander With Me," and it is from the last season of Twilight Zone. I absolutely love this episode. You can buy episodes on Amazon. I highly recommend it. I also recommend "The Passersby" and "Jess Bell." Both episodes feature haunting folksongs. The folksong in "The Passersby" is an authentic one, and it's hundreds of years old. It is "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair." Judy Collins sings a version of it that you can hear on Youtube.

  • There was also a French film, "An Ocurance at Owl Creek Bridge", that was purchased by producer William Froug and made into a "Twilight Zone" episode that had a song that was heard through most of the episode. In the episode, a man is about to be hung when he manages to escape and reach his home. Unfortunately, the lyrics gave away the ending of the story ("A living man, a living man, I'd rather be a living man").

  • INCROYABLE!!!MERCI.
