  • Only this is not worth of all money that can buy this.

  • Im hoping brainwashed americans will realise that their country is evil and sadistic !!!

  • "If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged."

    Prof. Noam Chomsky

  • let us look at the maths:

on CNN Mrs albright and holbrook state that 100k albanians die-in the end 10k dead on all sides. bombing results: 82 bridges, all oil refineries, 14 thermal power plants, 13 airports and 20 railway stations, 121 factories not to mention hospitals, and Nis city center and Belgrade TV station-"legal targets" ?? oh and 13 or 17 tanks(depending on reports) from thousands. and the worst thing-the reason why the bombing started, racak, is not processed as a war crime in Hague

  • @nemoseres All of those things listed are acceptable targets, as they can be reasonably be assumed to be used by the military for the purpose of armed attack/resistance. Here's some rules on the LOAC

    Military Objectives Elements

Effective contribution to military action by

    Nature

    Location purpose use

Offers a definite military advantage by

    Destruction

    Capture

    Neutralization

Hospitals are considered protected, but if used in capacity different than designed, they lose that protection.

  • It's not a war crime, as the bridge was a strategic target. It was regrettable that a passenger train went by as the weapons impacted, but there is no proof that the military intentionally targeted a civilian target. There was a definite military use of the bridge for moving supplies, so it lost it's protected status as a civilian installation.

  • @UNspacycadet this is not true, as the pilot after shooting one missile into the train stopping it on the bridge shot an another into the train. this was deliberate as there are videos from the tip of the missile hitting the train from both the first and the second strike. furthermore, all strikes need clearance from the HQ, and since the train was clearly visible in both strikes, there is no doubt that the HQ consciously ordered an attack on the train-this was not an accident

  • @nemoseres That comment right there shows you have no idea how military operations are conducted. The "HQ" didn't have live video feed of the ordinance, and the pilot had no way of knowing it was a civilian transport as he released both weapons in quick succession. I have seen this video too, during a discussion of the Law of Armed Conflict. There was no breach of the LOAC, therefore no one can be prosecuted.

  • @UNspacycadet absolutely, i know nothing of military operations. however i know that those trains move at 50 km/h max, which means they were easily seen from above ground approaching the bridge. and the pilot has the live connection with the HQ. the war crimes come as the bombing itself was done outside the UN security council and the breached the NATO's charter whereby it is a defensive structure. it was done without any NATO member state being attacked, therefore all targets were illegal

  • @nemoseres Easily seen? Do you know that a fighter jet cruises at 300 mph? At an average height of 3000 feet? And you think they can discern a locomotive at 59 kph? The ordinance doesn't have a "live connection" at least, not back in 1999. This isn't some science fiction where the commander has a bank of screens showing him the whole battlefield. This was a NATO operation, so the UN doesn't have oversight. The targets were "dual-use" meaning the enemy military could potentially use them.

  • @nemoseres Just because the UN didn't approve of it doesn't make it illegal. NATO, despite being a primarily defensive organization, has proven itself as a peacekeeping organization as well, and has proven it can exist post-Cold War.

  • @UNspacycadet im sorry but peacekeeping doesnt wrk here as the first massacres happened days after the bombing. NATO admitted killing more than 1500 civilians in 3 months of aggression. the argument you use as legitimate targets was used by bosnian serbs in the case of sarajevo and was rejected in the court of law.

how is a open market, a TV station, a mental institution, a prison, a stove or a car factory a legitimate target? how is dropping cluster bombs on city centers not illegal?

  • @nemoseres furthermore, how is bombing of the VCM (vinly cholride monomer) storage, amounting for environmental disaster legal? consequently, the city of Pancevo has the highest cancer rate in europe, just after 1999. not to mention sending unguided heat seeking missiles over cities, where they were hitting random targets.

over 90% of targets were civilian, therefore the purpose was terror not peace

seriously the US/NATO wont be able to avoid the courts forever, war crimes dont expire with time

  • @nemoseres They will be able to avoid the courts because no crimes were committed. "Unguided heat-seeking" is a contradictary term. Do some research first before speaking. First you say they were hitting specific locations, now you say they're random. Make up your mind. VCM is used to make PVC, which is a major component to infrastructure, and thus a legitimate target. In war, you deny the enemy the ability to make war against you and sustain the current fight.

  • @nemoseres If you read in my reply, you would know that factories are a dual-use target. Yes civilians work there, but that does not preclude it as a legitimate target. A car factory can easily change from manufacturing civilian goods to weapons, as WWII demonstrated to us.

Killing civilians is regrettable, but there is nothing in the LOAC that says civilians casualties equate to a violation of law. Military forces are to avoid casualties, but LOAC accepts that some casualties may occur.

  • respect to Serbia

  • USA is largest threat to the world peace ,...

  • You can thank Juan McSpain that piece of shit senator from Arizona for this.

  • The USA is the world's biggest threat to peace and freedom.

  • This is the worst crime in the humane history. those ppl are not worth to be calld ANIMALS even! The killers need to sit in jail!

  • i remember seeing this on the news, then it was censored......a war crime by clinton and blair, the victims families should take them to court in europe .

  • @climber334

My neighbour died in that train. She was than 23 years old, middle school teacher. As much as i hated our government at that time, these kind of crimes made me hate NATO even more.

  • @nikolic016

Im sorry to hear that. Its important for people not to forget about events like this, I hope things are better in your country now.

    greetings from Ireland

  • @climber334 They can't be taken to court because no international laws such as Geneva or Hague were violated.
