Many on the left assert that 9/11happened on "Bush's watch" (or that he knew about it all beforehand.) True, Bush was 9 months in. Also true: Clinton had left our defenses a shambles, and blown chances to slay or capture bin Laden. Obama's been in a while. When is it going to be HIS watch? Everything that goes awry in his Presidency is laid in the lap of someone else. We have an AG who pardoned terrorists because he thought it would win votes. Obama seemed callous, dispassionate, and cold in his half-hearted response to this massacre. Recall how the media could NEVER let go the fact that Bush kept reading to the kids on 9/11? Likely he was both in shock and didn't wish to scare the kids. But Obama bumbled along speaking to a Native American audience for two minutes before he even got to the shooting, and didn't seem to be angry at all. He also conflated the medals of Honor and Freedom;if that were a Bush foible we'd neve hear the end.

I am an Obama supporter and do not blame this attack on him. After all, Bush also promoted "diversity" and "tolerance" and Obama is not responsible for what this Jihadi did.
