@KissMeImPunk Chances are I was drinking when I wrote that (after all, what other excuse could one have for reliving professional wrestling by watching the intro to a Sega Genesis/SNES game?). It was meant to be more of a statement about my favorite than actual accomplishment. It's hard to argue against The Undertaker being the most accomplished wrestler ever. His quality of opposition in his Wrestlemania wins alone is better than the entire career resumes of some of the top 20 wrestlers ever.

I think Bret's theme sounds a bit better on the genesis versian, I was a genesis boy when i was a kid but the SNES and gensis were very evenly matches overall, SNES was better at some things and genesis at others, genesis had classics like Sonic and Road Rash but then SNES had Super Metroid and Super Mario.

this game was really gd, i still play it now. I used to use the undertaker in the royal rumble match and win with him. Shawn michaels was also gd on this game so taker and micheals were the best on this game (they're still the best wrestlers today), but the other wrestlers were gd also and used to be able to do all their speacials except lex lugers, hes a twat anyway now. And to answer where crush (Bryan Adams) has got to, well he died last year due to a heart attack. RIP Mr Perfect and Crush.

I think what made this game so appealing was the simplicity of the controls and it presented options unlike any other wrestling game prior to the release of Royal Rumble. Cool graphics as well.
