I doubt the lizard will eat it if it will poisont. They have survived for many years somehow... I feed my Alligator Lizard Black widows now and then and it never acts sickly.

The will eat it if it is. They survived because they're from different continents- so they didn't ever encounter each other in the wild. It's why so many non-native species kept as pets die because their owners don't know not to feed them native things that are toxic- like fireflies. Sometimes it just takes a while for the toxins to build up in their system before it kills them.
