Fascinating! From the perspective of philosophy, it follows Nietzsche's parable of the child (creator), camel (realizer), and lion (destroyer). From the perspective of evolutionary psychology, it describes the morphing of memes from childhood experience into adolescent rebellion and masculine indoctrination - and ultimately into nihilistic regicide and feminine insight (there is a hint of Buddhism in the latter). But as Paligia says, without such memes we'd all still be living in straw huts!
This movie is great. Really interesting! I watched it in Fiction Writing, and its interesting how their lives end up following a plot line, and how the movie takes you through those steps.
