Once this bill destroys the private insurance, I will no longer have to pay the $2800 in premiums I am currently paying through my employer. I will then have to mandatorially get my healthcare through the government which will cost me over $10,000 per year. I thought this bill was supposed to bring premiums down. He is a single man paying child support. His company does not offer health care and he cannot afford private insurance and is not eligible for Medicaid. Once this bill destroys the private insurance, I will no longer have to pay the $2800 in premiums I am currently paying through my employer. I will then have to mandatorially get my healthcare through the government which will cost me over $10,000 per year. I thought this bill was supposed to bring premiums down. I'll have to get a 3 year loan every year just to pay for this crap. How in the hell. And the quality of care is going to deminish as well.

I just heard Obama wants a Universal Appliance Warranty (UAW). Frig broke and no money to fixed it, My neighbors won't store my food in their frig, and it isn't fair that they have one and I don't. Not to mention of course that it will help insure all those who couldnt obtain it for other reasons like pre-existing conditions. The most disturbing truth about Pelosi and all the other supporters of the our new healthcare system is that they've put their exclusive trust in the CBO, which has a solid track record of drastically underestimating the costs associated with government programs.
Equally disturbing is that a relatively basic knowledge of economics should have prevented any of our elected servants from casting their vote in favor of the bill. Obviously, the majority lacks this knowledge.

Those of you that don't think that this new bill is a good thing- please consider the following; How about the man that works 40+ hrs a week at a physically demanding job making only $13/hr? He is a single man paying child support. His company does not offer health care and he cannot afford private insurance and is not eligible for Medicaid. Why should he have to go without seeing a doctor or be afraid to go to the emergency room for fear of running up thousands of dollars in expenses?
