  • That Earl Hollman was in just about every cop-related film and TV show from the 70s. He was everywhere. Always played either a detective, commissioner or a lieutenant of some kind and hardly ever had the starring role.

  • Angie Dickinson was the first sexy woman to star in an action/cop series in the 1970s. She was followed by Lindsey Wagner, Lynda Carter, Jaclyn Smith, Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd. She was the groundbreaker. People forget that.

    Kyra Sedgewick's "The Closer" has similar elemnts to this older program.

  • I would love to see the episode where Angie Dickinson's character gets captured,held in bondage and brainwashed by her captures. It was either in the second or third season of the series. Originally ran on NBC from 1974-78.
