@reign730 Mate, I've never imagined I could get anywhere close to Sir Sting (or at least Sting C.B.E.), but I love his music anyway and I hope it is a blessing for all Sting's guitarist fans to have a tutorial cover version of one of his best songs. Mate (the British for Dude), some things suck about you, but I gess (and hope) it's not yourself, just your attitude. Have a pleasant growth! =)

Superbe interprétation! J'ai recommencé à jouer depuis peu, et je suis totalement pourri sans un pic. Donc je cherchais qq chansons pour travailler ma main droite et Clapton semblait intéressant. En regardant ton vid, c'est la régularité et le pattern de la main droite qui m'ont frappé, les accords étants relativemment simples. Comment as-tu développer cette régularité? N'importe quel conseils seraient grandement apprécié. In french or english, as you wish. Again, awesome cover, dude!

I don´t fully understand the content of your comment but I hope I got just enough to answer you. The trick mon ami, is to work a lot! ;) I had to first "make out" the pattern I wanted to play, and then I practiced it 'till exaustion so I would be able to play it without thinking about it, just feelin' it! =D

I suggest you do just that: practice it slowly until you "print the pattern in your ears"! ;) Salut!

Sorry friend, but to explain it properly I'd have to record a new video. That won't be possible right away 'cause I have no time at the moment.

Anyway, this rithm I "made up" is the thoughest part of the song and the only thing that makes my version stand out among all others. But it requires advanced guitar rithm skills. In short: even if I explain it to you, you won´t be able to play it unless you're an advanced guitar player!.. =/

Practice hard and you'll get to it! ;)

The song really has a special kind of groove, and that's something you can only reach out after of lots of hard work!.. =/ I recommend you to listen hard to a Sting/Clapton's original studio version to "breathe" that bass groove that I put in my guitar interpretation.

Just check out other cover versions and you'll understand what I'm telling you.
