  • The yanks love their ads don't they?

  • U MEAN HE NEVER GOT A OSCAR...WTF.?????????.

  • Hitchcock is so funny. His subtle humor is genius. It's in his films too!

  • There's a lot of great audio clips to sample from this.

  • LMAO STIGMATA JOKE

  • 1 person doesn't know horror

  • tom snyder is a light weight......lots of cliches and platitudes and not enough substance in his questions or followups...

  • I can't believe Hitchcock never won an Oscar.

  • @curtisvowell at least, he was nominated 5 times.

  • stupidity makes me angry - alfred hitchcock

  • @yoshikartegg You can see this opinion come across in films like 'Rope'.

  • 1:18 - 1:21 That's brilliant

  • He's so cute it makes you want to have him as a pet :O)

  • @ertzuiop123 lol

  • @ertzuiop123 Yes he looks like a bulldog with that double chinned face

  • And the Internet wasn't around then. What would he think now?

  • The interviewer is pretty terrible. He seems incredibly pretentious and inane. His laugh sounds fake and his follow-ups and responses are useless.

  • is hard not to pay 100% focus to Alfred hitchcock from the way he talks....

  • COME RACK, COME ROPE ---- BRILLIANT hahahaha what a great video

  • His statement about media makes me love Hitchcock even more especially 4:42, if he was living today he would get very infuritated about the stupidity through politics, films, and Television.

  • thank you for you tubing this

  • When Snyder looks at the camera and says "whether it's on this tube..." it seems eerily prescient :P

  • snyder is so dull and i love how hitxh catches him off guard, and shows his superior intelligence....really puts snyder who thjinks hes all that in his place!! love hitch, otherwise this would be boring!!!

  • The incident about the shooting in Foreign Correspondent (1940) may have been a major reason why Hitchcock made the film Rope (1948).

  • "Stupidity makes me angry." YES!

  • amazing

  • Effortless cool without making even the slightest bit of effort!

  • the most ledgendary man of all time! good post .. i didnt know he had that kind of stigma !

  • excellent!

  • the thing he said about the media is absolutely true, good news never makes the headlines, its always bad news

  • @monsieurhassan Some good news usually does make the newspaper, but the important thing is that bad news is intrinsically both more newsworthy and common.

  • well, personally I'd prefer to read the headlines and be happy for once, so no, its not intrinsically more newsworthy, but it is common

  • @monsieurhassan No, bad news is intrinsically more newsworthy. It ticks all the boxes of newsworthiness. Good news can only tick a few, unimportant ones, like human-interest and quirkiness.

  • its just a matter of opinion, thats my point . . . its NOT more newsworthy for me, thats why I hardly ever read the newspaper anymore

  • @monsieurhassan He mentions somebody in real life acting out a scene from Foreign Correspondent. When I heard about the London Bombings in 2005 I automatically thought of his 1936 Sabotage film. Reality eerily depicting fiction

  • Thank you.

  • Thanks for posting!
