An even greater problem for Xtn apologists, is that if one were to completely strip away all assumptions from the texts in question - whether those assumptions are of Judaic, Christian, or Islamic origin - and ONLY draw deductions using the PLAIN READING of the text(s) within context, then in my opinion, the vast majority of contra-Judaic conclusions (those statements that contradict the conclusions and majority opinions of the Torah sages of Israel) would simply vaporize.
Young (aka: LJP) makes so many errors in his statements and rebuttals, that it is difficult to know where to begin. Much like a fisherman trying to undo a horribly tangled mess of fishing line after a bad cast, (aka: a 'bird's nest'). Meaning, that the time spent trying to undo the mess is inordinate to the time that it took to make the mess in the first place.
Here is only one example of the plethora of incongruities regarding just one of the Xtn assumptions re: Isaiah 7:14, i.e., the name "Immanuel" being given to this child in question.
* Ignoring the 700-800 year time gap problem [for Xtns] which has been thoroughly discussed already...
Quoting the NT:
"And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him... and he called His name Jesus." (Matthew 1:24-25)
Thanks. I was intending too, but had to go to the city, so I let the computer compress and upload automatically and I have just returned. I believe they are now shown as replies to one of LJP's videos. :D

Thanks for contributing. Nice Job. You should connect these as replies to each other so folks can make the steps through the videos. Nice commentary.

I'll be adding them all to a playlist entitled "Answering the Isaiah Challenge" on my profile page.
Good job, Prescott. You make some fine points I didn't consider.
I'm going with the child being Hezekiah, but I agree that there is evidence also suggesting it is Isaiah's son.
