  • Every Wing Chun master has roots of his style. I understand that SiFu Wong don't want to use his SiFu's name. But it will be enough to tell what lineage is it.

    Regards, Rudolf.

  • Ótimo!!! esse é o verdadeiro wing chun na pratica!!!

  • anyone have some advise for me im a starter at wing chun..

i did thaikickbox / muy thai / teakwando

so its difficult for me to keep on punching rappidly

im more power and fast punches then fast punches constantly...

hope someone got some advise for me

  • get a good teacher from a good lineage, the teacher you learn from matters. see the size of the class and how often the teacher attends to the students.

  • and thats the problem in my country there is NO wing chun school :S

  • Lol the poor dude (assistant)'s been getting all the beating the whole video

  • outstanding kung fu! Master Wong has a level of skill not often seen today. I dare say that he could have probably held his own against Bruce Lee himself.

  • you think we will never know cause bruce is already a legend. plus bruce don't like to make too much movements only one move thats all it takes.

  • if u punch... do u need to hold ur breath or breath out ??

  • Breathe out my freind, holding your breath while attacking is not a good idea, this is how you get worn out quickly. You must remember to expell short bursts of breathe when you attack, this helps generate explosive power, and keeps your stamina high.

  • thnx btw how can u work on speed..?

if seen a lot of videos but not real good excercises (sorry for my bad english)

  • Proper excersise, the right diet, and lots of practice. Heavybags are useful for this, but my main advice to you, is to practice being soft, and laid back. Not easy when you try throwing a punch without tensing up your arm. But that is the essence of wing chun, be relaxed, and tense on the point of impact. Give it a try

  • Definitely breath, otherwise as destroyallhumans4 said you will wear yourself out fast.

  • I love Master Wong's stuff.

I must try to make a trip to Ipswich and train with the guy.

  • thank you for this site and i hope i can become a true student of wing chun

  • It's a more' functional' form of Wing Chun

  • Hello. Exceuse me, but I do not understand what kind of Wing Chun is it. The forms defer from the Chinese version and from the Vietnam version. Please wright me what kind is it.

P.S. very nice videos, thank you.

  • This is his own Wing Chun. Master Wong also trains Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, and Sanshou kickboxing so there are elements of all those arts in his Wing Chun. Whenever you train in more than 1 style there will and should be some blending of them into your own unique style. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that Wing Chun must be this or can't be that. It can be anything you want it to be as long as it works within the basic Wing Chun principles.

  • this is what Bruce Lee believed, use know way as the way, not one practice, you can deal with a situation with many styles. peace.

  • RudolfTime, WingChun is the only form from China. No other form of Wingchun that I know of exist.

  • @dieulu65 What do you mean? I mean Lineage. What lineage is he.
