As much as I love The Blood Brothers, this could have been a lot better and feels pretty rushed. I mean it's not like they've never mixed a chaotic rhythm with a melodic one before, Rats Rats Rats and Candy is a good example of this.

@qdgyuu I know what you mean. Although the song goes over similar themes to the BB's songs, it's a wildly different style. I think this was caused by the creative conflict between the members of the band (which led up to their disbandment).
The lyrics of the original were actually pretty dark. In a way, this is just matching form to content. The terror of knowing what this world is about, indeed.
