  • LOL:

    why-the-hell-are-you-reading-this

  • i have the 313 rd comment AWESOME this song is AWESOME too... TY bbib

  • @3v1l4ur4 That't what happens when i am being more observing....when i open my eyes and open my heart...at last. I didn't even know this comment exist, and yet i found it, somehow, by accident? I don't think so :-)))

  • WOW! I don't even play this on loud and still everything shaking from the fantastic bass! It seems it's not just me who's moved by this song, my funitures want's to play along. My quote; I'm happy to get some company!

Insomnium, you made my life worth living again!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I totally agree that no metal band can compare to Insomnium. They are a band with real passion and intensity. Hail Insomnium from India \m/

  • Good way to start 2012, now I can really die in peace :) Long life Insomnium

  • ништяГ трек......перед работой на 200w адриналин на год вперёд

  • This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard.

Thank you for helping me and others with this piece of art.

  • Songs like this are the ones that turn this band into something that keep changing my life. Thanks for bringing this songs into my soul Insomnium, you have helped me throughout a lot of rough times.

    Thanks

  • damn, bass level is really high in this song, but they did a great job!

  • Someone make a 10 hour video of this?

  • Insomnium all the wayyyyyyyyy <3

  • who touched the dislike button?? ._.

  • @JimKnopf15 someone who cannot emotionally comprehend this epicness

  • Now this is wat metal should be like

  • i wish this went on for 20 minutes

  • FU**! That´s so damn great...

    INSOMNIUM... schlaflos... sleepless...

Who want´s to sleep, while such great music fill´s the ears?

    Sleeping would be an insult!

    Oh^^ That´s why they´re called Insomnium...

  • is this insomnium, i think it is not, this is not their style, but song is beautifull. this reminds me on U2...

  • @2001Jug Insomiun doesn't need to stick to the one style. Look at Opeth, they've got quite a broad spectrum of music. Take their Damnation album, different style, but good all the same. This is still Insomnium, just a different song.

  • @2001Jug well dude, it is INSOMNIUM, and it does sound exactly like their style. this was an unreleased instrumental that they put up for download with Weather the Storm. check amazon.com if ur still a sceptic.

  • I N S O M N I U M ♥ FTW

  • can u upload all the songs from their new album i cant find all of them :(

  • The best song ever

  • when does this album come out in the US?

  • @dj3ntz This wasn't on an album, but do check out their latest album "One for Sorrow" that just came out yesterday in the US.

  • this song is so great that i'm stuck trying to find words to describe it, it's like i get a boner in my heart or smth, u guys know what i mean

  • This song sends shivers down my body. There isn't many artists that can create a symphony of sound quite like Insomnium can. They make that guitar sing better than most vocalists could sing notes. I really do think that a select few bands, including Insomnium, could be considered to be the "Mozart" of our generation because it is REAL music with REAL talent and REAL passion. I hope many of you feel the same way i do.

  • @darkfortress2552 totally agree with everything you just said. Insomnium is more than music, they are composers, they create some true peices of artwork. words cannot describe the feelings i get when i listen to this band, especially when on my ipod when walking through the woods on a crisp winters day.

  • Also check out "Decoherence" from "One for Sorrow"

    watch?v=MMX1EvAxh-U

  • @crashmer Thank you. :)

  • @poidnet My pleasure. INSOMNIUM said "share it" so i did. :)

  • @crashmer absolutely. amazing track. transcendent to say the least

  • @meanmark1 Unfortunately i had to remove the video due to copyright claim by Century Media. :(

Doesn't matter though, the song is excellent and so is the album. Absolutely joy to listen, I'll be getting it soon and so should you! :)

  • @crashmer Check the band all together! :-)) But yes, Decoherence is brilliant! They create masterful instrumentals indeed...Thank you so much for the upload....

  • im not a fan of metal :) but i just love the background :) of tje track :) these guys they play really good :) thumbs up :)

  • Beyond the sight I noticed you, into the storm you prayed, prayed for me to never come.Posponed under the wind I waited, waited for so long to disappear again, once again in those hollow memories of yours.

  • fuckin awesome this bieber song rocks his new style is pretty different but i like it

  • Which album is this song from as I've checked the upcoming De Luxe edition and it's not on there.

  • @Krzysztof1666

It's going to be on the new album "one for sorrow"

  • @Krzysztof1666 It's just a song on Weather the Storm (single) and won't be used on an album.

  • amazing

  • I'm tired to see Bieber's name on all the metal videos

We know he's one of Usher's bitches now stop with that

Shut the fuck up with Bieber and enjoy Insomnium guys ;)

  • This song give me tears in my eyes. It`s a fantastic song, and a fantastic band!

  • just bought tickets to see them :D

  • @Necromora lucky twat

  • INSOMNIUM WE TRUST

  • Forget Justin Bieber he's ah fag. He sings for fame and other faggits but these guys sing for the passion!

  • i dont give a fuck if insomnium are recognised or not...i have discovered them and thats all that matters to me anymore

  • This means playing music with your fuckin heart!

  • Although there is no singer this track is just imba.

    There is this melody with a feeling I can't describe....it's just - ah I don't know.

But everyone here knows what I mean.

  • @MrSaNF More than you know....

  • @MrSaNF its the shudder...the chill in heart...insomnion-rotting christ doing it to me so hard \m/

  • Insomnium...Metal perfection. Simple as.

  • it took me.... four seconds into the song.. to realize... that this band is the best band in the whole fucking world and no other band can ever fucking COMPARE to them unless they're fucking demons... or McDonalds french fries... soo good...

  • @Brandonlovesthejuice True man , this band is my fuckin best melodic band of all times , but in the other hand OPETH are supernatural too :)

  • @demolisher90 I get to go see them and Katatonia soooonnn... Gunna show up wearing my OLD ass Opeth shirt, Mikaels signature prs, show them the picture of the O logo decal on the back of my car, then flash them my O tattoo. I will then ask if I am number one fan, or just crazy lol

  • How about a thumbs up for everyone who listens to metal for BEAUTY, not just badassery?

  • i just love when it kicks into the guitar... epic music! :D

  • Listening to this makes me feel like I can achieve anything I want and that the future won't be so bad

  • october 18 cannot come soon enough

  • i just want to say..this band has been there with me at my time of sadness and happiness man,,..i don wanna just call this music,,,its life..a whole new world man...HAIL frn INDIA!!!!!insomnium for life...

  • One hell of a beautiful instrumental, delivered by the great insomnium.

  • I had never listened anything so beautiful as this song

  • The bass :O :o :O

  • Uhm, wtf. I'm now hearing this :\

Lol, My favourite band. How could I miss this o.0

  • :')

  • I love their music it's so thoughtful and deep, this would be perfect in a forrest on a starry night watching the skies laying on the ground :P

  • I love that all 11 reactions to this song were "Incredible."

  • I love reading the comments in Insomnium's videos. I feel at home, seeing so many people share the same feelings as mine.. of absolute hatred and distaste for the mainstream pop scene, where so called artists write cheesy lyrics about love and make millions for a piece of junk not fit to be called music.

There are so many underground bands for whom music is only a side project, yet they've enriched thousands of their fans lives through their music.

  • @kissofdeathisraja I feel the exact same way, as I'm sure we all do. Mutual understanding is so blissful

  • @kissofdeathisraja I love your passion, although things considered to be mainstream pop are not always bad. It's not because a lot of people like it or because it's pop that it has cheesy lyrics. I, as well as you, have my favorite genres, but I do recognize that every genre has creative minds, who's goal it is to move people with their music. It does not matter if it's rap, metal, soul, pop, jazz, folk,....

  • @SjinT

I see your point, but I can only agree with all the other genres you mentioned except for with pop.

Pop is meant to sell millions, and is meant to be made simple enough so that almost anyone can find it catchy. The way I see it, it's really junk.

But there ARE some talented artists in the genre, though VERY few. Michael Jackson was just awesome.

  • @kissofdeathisraja this IS interesting, isn't it?

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful.

  • I almost can't fucking wait for the new album, it's gonna be incredible!

  • @fuckthiscrappysite Go and sign up for there newsletter NOW. On the 29th they are releasing a FULL SONG from there new album for download! Plus they linked some cool recording vids of the new album in the last one.

  • @ForsakenTank Good idea man. I'm signing up as I type, Insomnium is fast becoming one of my favorite bands.

  • wheres the i came option in the reaction box????

  • just one question, How did u get this song up?????

  • @3chic3 by buying the single on iTunes for example?^^

  • Post-rock is my favorite genre next to melodic death metal, so this is a match made in heaven :)

  • Very Overwhelming song, they make the greatest intros. i had to comment again :)

  • wow.

    this was just...wow.

  • Love straight from PAKISTAN!

  • pleassse someone tell me wath brand of guitars they are playin on

    PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

guys i wanna buy one !! and my love for insomnium makes me want one of theirs

    I HAVE TO KNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWwww

  • THIS BAND CAME FROM HEAVEN TO SHOW US THAT GOD CAN BLESS US WITH A THING CALLED "INSOMNIUM" my favourit band ever and forever !! i wanna fucking buy 1000 album copy , and gave it to all my grandsons and their grandsons till 3.000 AC

  • it's beyond beauty

  • how do they make such amazing music album after album...i love this band

  • Insomnium always puts such a tranquil melodic intro and then kicks into deep dark vocals that lead into pure chaos. LOVE IT.

  • @TheWitheringWench It's intriguing, actually. The way different listeners can visualise or interpret each song (or aspect of the music) in such a varied way. I for one see the vocals as chaotic, nor do I see them as particularly abrasive as I use to when I initially listened to this style of music. Instead, I see them as very human. I see a weakness. A man with a burden or a sorrow. In fact I see beauty as there is no repression... the deep, gut wrenching emotion is released without obstruction.

  • (number of people who disliked this video)+(lame joke)= top comment?

  • zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzzZZZZZzzzzZZZZZ

  • i cry everytime i hear this song, its so beutiful

  • "Why the hell are you reading this" Seriously I let the song play and was laughing the whole time. Now I have to replay it. xD

  • Their melody is the best melody in the world.

  • @justicelust

    absoulouuuuutly YESS

  • 7 people died of suicide for missing out of years of insomnium..(did i go to far...)

  • @SuperTerrarian

    noop you didnt

  • Has anyone the Tabs for this Song?

    I can't find complete Tabs :(

  • @2bix93

this is new song , you have to wait a while

  • not my type of music, but i love melodic death metal

  • Insomnium really are a hidden jewel. Their talent in reality deserves a lot more recognition but fame in the music industry doesn't regulate itself, it's controlled, thus, Baby by Justin Bieber gets over half a billion views, and this only gets 26 thousand. I'll always know in my heart that THIS is beautiful music and I wouldn't give it up for the world and I think I speak for all of us when I say that.

  • @xBurzurkurx Jesus fucking Christ. You know, just because you and me both like Insomnium doesn't mean that EVERYBODY does. If you like it or not, there are more people that genuinely like Bieber than people who love Insomnium. Just because you think their music is awesome doesn't mean others share your opinion. Metal, and especially death metal is a niche genre (or.. kind of).

  • @g0r3g4sm Your right, but the music industry is fucked up as bands such as Insomnium get very little support or backing from the "big players" in the industry whereas people like justin beiber get bombed with the shit. If they both had the same amount of support then I'm sure that Insomnium would be the better roconised and it would be the beiber fans making jokes about Insomnium.

  • @anthoes1 Then shouldn't we all, as appreciators of true musical genius, do all we can to get this band the recognition it deserves? Post this song everywhere that you know and bring it to those who've never heard it.

    Metal IS forever.

  • @g0r3g4sm That or insomnium isnt exposed to the world, I guarantee almost everyone found this through an underground concert or another band such and quo vadis or kalmah

  • @FixKillzoneTwoNow I found this through Eternal Tears of Sorrow and found Kalmah through Insomnium. :P

  • @LeadGRuaidri way to go! Kalmah and Insomnium are the two most beastly bands out there!

  • @g0r3g4sm People 'genuinely' like Justin Bieber and other stuff like that cause that's all their exposed to and are too narrow-minded to explore other genres, essentially making it more of a forceful act than actually liking Justin Bieber. We can all agree, and when I say all I literally mean EVERYONE who listens to music on this earth can agree that this song is far more complex and beautiful than Baby. Same goes with classical, you don't have to like it, but you gotta acknowledge it's beauty.

  • @xBurzurkurx exactly, i have lost all respect for most mainstream artists after being exposed to this type of music. definitely an acquired taste but once you can appreciate it, you realize the immense depth in every song. these guys write their songs, layer upon layer, guitars, singing, percussion, synth, orchestra, an endless list. modern day pop is just drums, synth, and autotune, barely anyone writes for themselves anymore, its despicable. these guys are the light through the clouds.

  • @xBurzurkurx I highly agree with your comment. Although melodic death metal is an acquired taste, once the appreciation for it is present then you can fully admire the intricacy and sophistication of the songwriting. Also the pure, heartfelt emotion from the vocals. It was bands like Insomnium that actually made me begin to appreciate classical music. In fact since I have gotten into this style, I have deleted approximately 200 artists off my ipod and started afresh.

  • @pspvampire Yeah, classical music, along with death metal, is a complete experience standing it its own feet, which only a few of us will ever get into. Personally, I listen lots of different kind of stuff, varying from classical all the way to metal. As long as the music is melodic, full of feelings and atmosphere, telling a story of its own, it always has a place in my playlists. =)

I've noticed there are lots of similarities in movie music and melodic metal. I like them both.

  • @GrandElemental Absolutely. There is also some crossover points, for example the band SepticFlesh, on their latest album the guitarist composed a complete orchestral arrangement that is the backing (and sometimes even the main focus) for nearly the entire album. The orchestral parts were played by the Philharmonic orchestra of Prague. It is more soundtrack-esque rather than classical but it shows that the talent involved and even the style of the two genres is fairly similar.

  • @xBurzurkurx

most people are stupid man !! they cant reach this level !!

so keep them busy by justin beeFUCKER !! i dont wanna have comment things with them = being unique and special is more better

  • @xBurzurkurx yea, I would have to agree with that.

  • @xBurzurkurx You are so right, THIS is what real music is!

  • @xBurzurkurx hell yeah! tell it like it is

  • @xBurzurkurx - i agree with you mate. it does sadden me deeply when the real talent is side-stepped and over-looked for money. but nevertheless, we who recognize real music will continue to support the real musicians of this world. that is all that is needed for bands like Insomnium, who make music for music's sake, and not money.

  • Justin Bieber and his music will soon be forced out of business. It always happens. Who needs Spears or Augilera now?

THIS will be listened to through generations, like Metallica and Ozzy, as it is a real masterpiece.

  • @xBurzurkurx Well Said \m/

  • @xBurzurkurx You're absolutely right my bro, and I would like to point out that Insomnium (IMO) isn't a love-hate band, but rather a love-"haven't heard of them" band. I can say that because everyone I know who actually HAVE heard them love their music. If only the entire world knew of them...or they played at a BIG festival, such as Download or Wacken Open Air. I know I would go to BOTH those festivals if they were playing there :*) \m/

  • @xBurzurkurx Insomnium is quickly getting the recognition they deserve. They will never get five hundred million views like that beaver kid or whatever, but then that's a good thing. This world sucks enough without a bunch of tools walking around in there tapout hats and southpole shirts talking about how great insomnium is.

  • @xBurzurkurx In other words, while it's good that they are recognized, I don't ever want to meet anyone in real life who knows about insomnium before I had the chance to show them :D

  • @xBurzurkurx It's beautiful, for that same reason I think it's best to keep it that way. If this became a "pop" phenomenon, I would probably lose interest. I wouldn't want it to become too mainstream if you know what I mean.

  • @xBurzurkurx

Dude, Insomnium are one of the most known melodic death metal-bands in Finland, they are not unknown nor undervalued or anything like that. And I dont think anyone gives a rat's ass if they have gathered fame in the interweb or not.

  • @Vormal i am so happy to know that....finlan serysly produces great bands :)

  • @Vormal i am so happy to know that....finland serysly produces great bands :)

  • @xBurzurkurx i've listened to tons of metal, all subgenres, and nothing i've ever heard can compare to any insomnium song. they are simply the best band out there. i'm glad for me that i discovered them and that they're so untainted and underground, and sad for them that they don't get the recognition they deserve.

  • @xBurzurkurx And even then - this music still exists for us to enjoy it.

    Feels nice.

  • the fuck, why did i just hear this song first time today? im a huge fan and this band deserves so much more recognition

  • @WintersunFTWFTW Same here. Oh, yeah! but i noticed about Children of Bodom's new stuff on April, even when i can't stand them anymore :/ Insomnium doesn't deserve to be so underrated.

  • Look on amazon.com. The last three Insomnium albums have a full 5/5 stars and their debut album has better than 4/5. Phenomenal

  • Every one it doesn't get any better then this. This is hands down the most beautiful song ever written.

  • Beautiful.

  • Melo death TITANS!

  • @AstraIMist Yeah, but you Swedes make kick-ass metal too. What's in the water over there? :-P

  • Insomnium is better and better, epic and so perfect!!!;)

  • Wow I completely forgot abou Insomnium, it would make sense if they released an album this year. Oh man, ths is so good, I haven't listened to them in ages, they are fantastic. The sound equivalent of sorrow.

  • "One for sorrow" is the new.album title. Not "one of sorrow"...just fyi

  • This is awesome. I like the musical atmosphere.

  • Insomnium's new album is called 'One of Sorrow' and its out in october

  • semplicemente fantastica =D

  • if pop music would sound like this, I would listen to pop. Why I say this, this sounds a little bit like pop and I love it.

  • Does anybody know the release date of the album?

  • @ThePossessedGamers

    october 2011
