  • I just love the wonder of the Joy of Sharing and unconditionally enjoying each others company.

Thank you for sharing this great video with us. God Bless you .

  • I love this. Too precious!

  • awww man this is to cute

  • I love this video, I am going to save as one of my favorites, it just makes me smile everytime I watch it. Thank you for posting it.

  • FUCKING COMMERCIALS!!!

  • Unreal! :) so lovely.

  • The Elephant, the Dog and the Orangutan - the New Homeward bound

  • gave him the monkey biscuits. now thats generous.

  • "LA GANG WARS" is a related video LMFAO

  • I've worked with dogs for years and totally agree with tailsticks. Roscoe acts like a prisoner. His body language says "Let me outa here". No eye contact, leaning away from the Suryia. I just see cruelty to Roscoe and wonder what will happen as Suryia gets older and stronger. I would want to see this in person to be convinced that this is not a setup.

  • @SuperDogluv yeah cause he would keep coming back to the orangutan because he felt like a prisoner...

  • @horsescanter An animal (in this case a dog) can be trained to do things that they don't necessarily want to do - I think you are questioning this comment made by @SuperDogluv? If a dog is trained to "go with" a person, another animal etc., they can and will do it, even if they do not enjoy doing it. That's what we are both saying - read the dogs body language and no eye contact, he is doing what he is told - but he is not enjoying it. This is trained and NOT a natural interaction.

  • @tailsticks perhaps he was just breaking the laws of nature because he liked the orangutan and his fun company. I mean if you think about it people go out of their way to make friends with strange animals too that show affection.

  • As an animal trainer I have watched this video over and over and this is the most fake and staged animal interaction I have ever seen, and I cannot believe that NatGeo fell for it. The dog is trained to "stay with" the Orang. The dog is totally avoiding the Orang for every clip (with the exception of one), he avoids eye contact and looks like he just wants to leave and stop getting mauled by the Orang. Fake, totally fake.

  • @tailsticks - I don't care how long you've been an animal trainer. I suppose, though, as an animal trainer, you've had your own experiences with "training" animals to do what they don't want to do. Must be a nice living. How do YOU sleep at night training animals to do something they aren't likely to do naturally? Guess you don't have a problem with that, huh?

  • @Jody07984 - Its okay for you to assume that's how I train animals, as you don't know me. I can assure you though, I do not subscribe to the "force" method of training. This is old school. From being in this business for as long as I have, you are bound to hear stories of these "old school" methods. I am sure there are trainers out there that still use force - I do not - but I do know what it looks like, and this video, and the dogs behavior is a classic example of force being used.

  • That orangutan must have the most laidback and fun life ever. I'm jealous.

  • Orangutan-the Best primate

  • 3:00 is the cutest, most hilarious thing ive ever seen.

  • Is that orangutan ever sad?

  • how can people still think apes are mindless animals? It was giving the dog a hug for crying out loud!

  • who could dislike this!

  • @username7046 "Doc" Antle is not a doctor. In fact, he's a fugitive in many countries due to animal abuse and poaching charges. Dislikes probably come from that, not this cute propaganda video itself.

  • Surya also swims. The only swimming Orangutan in the world

  • I met them both(;

  • That is awesome

  • That orangutan is sooooo amazing. i love how it rolls around, and feeds the dog through his mouth. this is too cutte

  • @itTAKESsomeLUCK why don't you start asking santa for some originality...

  • @KaoTiX10 why are you trolling.. seriously?

  • Just beautiful!

  • dude seriously? How could you not like this? its like the cutest thing i've ever seen!

  • I love when Suryia has food in his mouth, and he opens the dogs mouth, and kinda kisses him and puts the food in Roscoe's mouth.

    ..........PRICELESS!

  • i can die happpy now

  • We may not see many more films like this in the future if their habitat continues to be destroyed. Support your local non-profit, and let's keep them from going extinct.

  • Maybe the old cliche needs to be extended: Dogs aren't just man's best friend, but they are a primate's best friend.

  • 1:01 CUTEST THING EVER

  • i think it's safe to say that 43 are not orangutan or hound. they're busy getting "along" elsewhere

  • i think it's safe to say that 43 are not orangutan or hound. they're busy getting "along" elsewhere

  • aww such a sweet story! It warms my heart!

  • Not only does this wonderful relationship transcend species, it's as if these two critters have known each other in other lives. That would help explain the instant bond they formed at first sight. I know that's true with humans, so why not be true with other animals as well? Long live Surya and Roscoe in this life and the next!

  • So sweet!!

  • @willcostello1 You* Nerd* First, I'm proud I'm a nerd so I can spell things correctly and actually use grammar. And second, I don't understand how my dream of working with animals gives you the idea that I'm a nerd in the first place.

So, your little comment to try and hurt me backfired because your opinion doesn’t matter to me and your hurtful comment doesn’t affect me.

  • @willcostello1 no ..fuck you sir.. please die so humans can evolve that much more. or at least lay off the booze, nobody likes a drunkin fool.

  • Why can't we all be friends?

  • This. is. awesome.

  • OMG. The markings on Rosco are so similar to my own dog. She is very fear aggessive, but when she find someone she likes she...love love loves them like this. It is rare and beautiful when it happens.

  • Wow. Nickname is "doc" so people think he's a doctor (he's not), soul patch, earrings, and leather jacket. I pronounce this man King of Doucheland.

  • So they stole someones dog.

  • 1:06 Lawl

  • I needed this. :) Adorable.

  • You never know who your next friend might be

  • How sad do you have to be to thumb this awesome video down. This video made my day, seriously.

  • Animals are so amazing, we can take a few lessons from them...so precious hon....MORE.. MORE.. MORE..

I tried to get on u tube but they already have me down as someone else and I do not want to be responsible for what they do on it...so please when you send to friends think of your old auntie...I mean young auntie...

  • "apes best frend!"

  • This is SOOOOO PRECIOUS!

But really, why to feed these animals biscuits and candies?

Do they have to suffer from the same degenerative diseases the human suffer, from eating the junk we created for ourselves?

  • beautiful

  • these two animals must 'have known each other in a past life"...for it's as if they have known each other forever even the first time they meet...aside from that, good God, what we could learn from these animals...love, care, compassion, non-prejudices, peace, etc. etc.

  • this place was on fantasy factory

  • 1:44 omediately

  • Eat that banana, doggie! You eat now!

  • not to sure about that orangutan all over that dog like that....i would worry about the dogs safety and one should never ride a elephant.... how they are " tamed " is ANIMAL ABUSE!!

  • @squeaky00 .... and you know this because your level of hands on experience handling elephants is.......???

  • @godessbast so you looked up on the net or where ever and saw how wild elephants are "tamed" and you dont think its animal abuse...ok thats your opinion just like my opinion after seeing footage of the same thing as cruel and abuse to the elephant....but of course if you didnt research elephant " taming" and just made your statement regarding me ?? with nothing to back it up then you just a babbling idiot

  • @squeaky00 Have you ever seen this animal in peson? I've visited the facility, she's healthy and thriving and has an amazing relationship with her caregivers. Sitting behind a computer regurgitating someone else's unfounded opinion is not "research." I'm guessing you care about animals. Perhaps you should do some REAL research and learn the true motivtion behind pure hate for animal/human interaction.

  • @godessbast sigh ..i have done "research" thats why i said taming of wild elephants is animal abuse you apparently didnt do research ...so you are lazy and uninformed ...i will not keep repeating my self....unfounded opinion? who am i suppose to be " regurgitating"?? ....never mind i dont really care ....goodbye

  • @squeaky00 I've stated my sources. I saw the elephant for myself. she's fine You speak of research? What credible source are you offering to prove this animal is abused?

  • @godessbast. Look, I don't care if the elephant gets hugs and kisses everyday. It is a wild animal and belongs in its natural habitat. Now, I don't know the circumstances, perhaps it was rescued, I don't know. However, under most circumstances, non-domesticated animals should be left in their environment where they can interact with with their species, come and go as they please, and roam as far as they wish.

  • Sweet. I hope that orangutan doesn't accidentally hurt that dog though.

  • Haha at 2:37 the Orangutan has food mouth to mouth like in lady and the tramp.

  • It just proves the dogs last owner was dumber than a monkey!

  • These two critters are actors in a movie. Watch their faces and expressions. They are not friends. They are doing what an off camera trainer tells them to do. Good grief!

  • @danceandb proof?????

  • this pair = ♥ !!!

see the cat and crow are friends video.

animals show us humans how to get along...no surprise here!

  • I think I've just been inspired to start living in a whole new way.

  • This basically proves that orangutans (and chimps) should be considered a subspecies of human. The fact the orangutan understands the concept of sharing is amazing.

They are essentially early versions of us. We need to protect these wonderful creatures from becoming extinct.

  • @braztaz I remember a chimp in New York that tore the face off a woman, bit off all her fingers, left her blind and handicapped and screaming.... yep, they're early versions of us all right. I agree we need to protect them, but I don't recommend putting them in elementary school with the kiddies just yet. Chimp tribes kill and eat the young of other tribes, you know. Nature is cruel. The evidence of love in nature shouldn't make us forget what it is.

  • @braztaz I don't know if you could consider Orangutans to be a human subspecies. BUT, I do think they deserve legal personhood, because of things such as sharing, like you said.

  • @braztaz I don't think you understand how biology works.

  • @braztaz The orangutan understands sharing better than a lot of humans. Makes you wonder if we're really the more advanced species.

  • @braztaz I really believe that they're amazing, beautiful, and deserving of protection. But subspecies of human is just biologically incorrect. They're not even in the same genus. How about their own genus and species, but equally protected, loved, and cared for?

  • @braztaz we ned 2 pritic r mom from get extinc from my dick LOL

  • 3:02 lol I love the orangutans expression. Only monsters would kill one of these gentle ancient elders. One of our closest cousins. :(

  • this is the cutest thing I've ever seen. adorable!

  • That was sooo adorable what a great story!

  • orangutans are by far the coolest of the great apes

  • surya is going to be very sad when his dog dies :(

  • this is great!

  • aw.... i wish that orangutan and hound dog were my pets

  • Ah, everyone needs a dog buddy.

  • Very cool!:)

  • now if HUMANS could only get along this way! :D

  • @Meg105360 No offense, because I support your sentiment, but the animal kingdom is just as violent and unforgiving as the human counterpart.

  • @Meg105360 I'll hold the leash and roll. You can walk around and get hugs from me.

  • @Meg105360 You mean act like monkeys and treat people like dogs? jk ;D I totally agree with you though!

  • Aw adorable!
