  • finally someone wearing a Nova2000 helmet. What size nozzle ya running there?? looks like a 6 or 7.. Oh and you should whack a cable tie around the nozzle holder... then move it down the hose and slip it over the deadman. Then ya can move ya hands where ever you need 'em. just don't drop it.

  • Ummm, this is not underwater sandblasting. You have on the wrong gear.

  • @terrapin52 negative, that's definitely the right helmet. I've sandblasted for a few years now and a few different companies and have always worn those NOVA 2000 helmets. you need a full helmet to prevent dust and sand ricochet from getting your face. and although it's not air tight it's tight enough to limit the air thus requiring the supplied air

  • @metalneverdies I was trying to make a funny. Looks like hard work. Blasting anything though in any way is pretty awesome.

  • I would have gotten a screw on cover for the PTO to stop sand getting into the seals. Look forward to progress videos and a look at the finished tractor.

  • @born2flyau when ever I sand blast something that I don't want sand to get into or get hit by sand 3 layers of quality duct tape usually does the job as long as you are careful enough not to blast it directly

  • Hi, who knows how much is cost one man-hour sandblasting in scotland? thanks

  • @rosomak81 On the east coast of USA it's 80.00-160/Hr. Plus sand and fuel. Painting is same rate's.

    Peace!

  • i also do this for a living restore vintage tractors as well as paint new ones
