In 1998, four teenage girls decided that they were tired of being discriminated against and found that LSE had nothing for them to do. It seemed that all of the cheerleaders, shirettes, etc were of the caucasian descent. Four ladies proposed an idea that few thought would last--SOUTHEAST STEP CHAIN. Through all of the sweat, tears, discouraging words, it has lasted so many years. I for one can say that I am very proud to be a founding member and captain of 2 years! Way to go Step Chain! :)
I still remember in 2003, when StepChain staged a fight at the very end of a rally...the old squad came in and "fought" with the new guys. It was awesome
it wasn't the powderpuff pep rally... nor was it a pep rally
in fact, it was the lse vs. lne basketball game
if the title wasn't a give away.. the january 17th date that shows for the duration of the video should have helped (powderpuff never happens that early
