Saw this and the OP preview at TAF this year. I'm actually kind of on the fence. While the OP looks spectacular and the premise is intriguing this totally screams of a show that will either be an 11 episode ball of awesome or a completely overloaded flop like Kannazuki no Miko.

the ending was kinda meh

11 months later and yeah.. I love the series. Think it was definitely one of the year's best series. I liked the first movie enough but the ending is an utter letdown. I will not spoil, but Jesus Christ, just understand that thematically if not narratively speaking, what you've seen is the lion's share of the show.

oh man, i haven't watched any anime recently but this will definitely get me back into it, trailer looks awesome! Can't wait! Plus they used a song by one of my favorite groups out there, school food punishment. :D

It's a 11 episode series, though a movie will follow. Can't find an exact release date for the film, but it's somewhere during 2009.
