  • Works great! Do it this way. (His brined Turkey makes the best Turkey ever).

  • Viking Style FTW!!!

  • Looks a little uncooked..

  • Love your channel! You look amazing! What you do is really fantastic! Let's stay in touch. Check me out sometimes too!

  • Alton Brown=SupaG

  • awesome, from now on i am cutting the damn turkey!!! lol, its always a bloody mess when mom does it.

  • That turkey was not fresh out of the oven and even looked cold. Cold meat is def much easier to slice!

  • Thanks, Friend!

Please, see my comments section to see which turkeys are really behind the curtain.

This is a must read for all Americans.

They say the only thing that can stop them is for the American people to stand up and say, "No more!"

    Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

  • This is Awesome!!

  • My family didn't give me time to carve the turkey...

  • What did happen?

  • Thanks so much!! This is so much better than cutting through the turkey as you eat. I found this video to be simple, yet in a perfect description. Thanks again, Alton!!

  • Something just hit me, guys... does this turkey look excessively pink in some areas? And was that blood I saw at one point? I don't think this turkey was completely done for the demonstration... or am I seeing things? Help me out here.

  • does it matter?

  • Well, it kind of does to me because if AB is using a rescipe that actually undercooks the turkey or leaves it bloody in some parts, then it's may actually be dangerous eats. Now, don't get me wrong, I trust Alton's rescipes, but it kind of had my eyes frisbie-sized, y'know?

  • Are you talking about the joint sections? The dark meat is always a different color due to the more action it gets, its completely safe to eat, provided it temps safe...Hope this helps!

  • It does. Hmm... actually, my families kinda sticklers for doneness to this kinda stuff... is it safe/ethical to spraypaint these birds? lol j/k

  • Or you could just shove a stick down the center and eat the whole thing like a barbarian.

  • amen

  • LOL. @ eating the drumstick viking style

  • For those just watching this, also see " Good Eats-Romancing the Bird". Found on LikeTheHat 's video list. Alton uses a different technique for carving, the best part is to get an electric knife. I found that to be soooo much easier.

  • For having so many steps, this is excessively simple. I'm taking the helm at turkey-carving this year. Thank you, AB!

  • Thanks Alton! I was recently promoted to Turkey Carver for our holiday meals, only I had no idea what to do! This video helped a lot!
