i was skating with walt before sponsorships and video sections were even a glimmer....me and dowling, kurt newman, mike mcmullen and many more...he's always been amazingly good/consisten...but there was this kid named GARY CARAWAY who was maybe even better than walt(sorry walt i love ya but, but even youll agree gary was a big loss)...ask any ATL head. unfortunatly he quit to become a frat boy

Walt and Gary had different styles. I agree Gary had amazing talent. I remember him pulling huge flatspins at SkatersXtreme over the spine and other nasty tricks most people couldn't think of doing back then. Walt is the cess slide king though. Both raw natural talent. Wish Gary still skated.
