The Coop JUST finished telling the interviewer how getting a finger pointed in his face makes him see red. What does the interviewer do... yep, puts his finger in Alice's face. the Coops' reply is beyond awesome!!!! Long live Alice Cooper!!!
The fact that he lived through THIS period is a testament to how much Christ can
bring to somebody's life. He is much more successful again NOW than he was here and he no longer looks like a walking corpse (unless he TRIES to) Here, he looks like a skull with skin stretched over it and it isn't intentional .
i know Alice is ashamed of those years, and i can understand why. I'm still a big fan of his music of ANY era, and i like seeing videos and live footage of this stuff. I wish there was more of it. I feel like people are trying to sweep it under the rug, like "oh he was messed up then, lets forget about that'. But i LIKED that stuff! I wish it was more available and not kept as this deep dark secret. Just because Alice was using booze, it didn't make his music bad >.<
Less thanking Golf, More thanking Calico.. If Calico hadn't entered the picture, alice would probably be dead right now.. So she saved his life by being born, and She gets to lend a hand in Killing him every show... Kind of a nice trade off...
Yeah, he's not looking too healthy here, but the Special Forces period is still one of my favourite Alice eras. I think he made some of his most creative music around that time.
