Ms. Cheney is both impressive and CORRECT. The majority of the media (O'Donnell is a spendid example) are in the tank for those that favour a European (read it anti-American if you prefer) approach to world politics. The election of a glib, not so intelligent, cult of personality like Obama is proof that they were a major influence over the last election and in turn the direction we'll take over the next four years. Luckily, in this interview, O'Donnell is no match for Cheney.

Al Qaeda certainly can't be expected to abide by Geneva or the standards thereof, and neither can rogue states. The document is a fucking joke. Of course civilized countries, when they capture detainees, are not going to torture, but since when do rogue states like Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan give a shit about those standards? Nuclear nonproliferation treaties or geneva are mostly just an affirmation of what we do and don't do as civilized countries in the industrialized world.
