  • ALRIGHT!!! I GIVE UP. WE, the USA are the worst people in the planet. Nora and her ilk have exposed us and we have to agree that we are the most awful people in human history. Norah and Lawrence and Mathews and Stewart can have their Utopia. They can have their ideal playground and everyone in their playground will abide by the rules. Little do they know that it has already been attempted. Cambodia, Germany, USSR, and now we are seeing Europe collapsing. Still they think they KNOW the answer!

  • I think its a safe assumption that a Vice Presidents daughter would be totally objective, especially when her father is guilty of torture and possibly other war crimes.

  • These are idiots. For 8 years Bush destroys the country of Iraq, spends money to the nth degree, and acts like an idiot. So now, after 2 short years Obama has not cured the 8 years of bushism.

  • There is no debate... the U.S government tortures people, and then dances around it and gives it different names like "enhanced interrogation". Period.

  • I'm against waterboarding, torure whatever you want to call it,but why is Norah silent on this issue now that the man she most likely voted for is in office?

Where is her zeal in denouncing this practice now that Obama is at the helm?

  • I can't believe how utterly STUPID Norah O'Donnell's suggestion is that when we follow the Geneva conventions, the terrorists do too. Name me one terrorist that has! Where the hell has this O'bimbo been? Daniel Pearl was just a journalist and they lopped his head of! Liberal loon!

  • We are supposed to be an example of the free world, because they do it, is ok to torture, So is ok to torture to save american lives??? fucking bitch!!! in our constitution we are not aloud to do it, we are part of the Geneva convention, fucking Bush and Cheney need to go to jail

  • Liz put Norah to shame with the truth.

  • Liz seems like an unhappy person, like her dad.

  • I don't think that is at all ... it's just that they have to deal with so many a**holes.

  • CIA Outsourced Development of Interrogation Plan

By John Goetz and Britta Sandberg

The torture practices used in interrogations of al-Qaida prisoners were not developed by government officials in Washington, but by private security experts. In return for a daily consulting fee, they personally supervised the program at the CIA's secret prisons from the very beginning.

  • For those that would watch this clip objectively, they would have to say maybe the 'pap' that they've been exposed to is nothing more than leftist, subjectivity. Go ahead - continue to be like sheep watching the same 'news' shows you have and nod your heads 'yes, yes', but soon you'll have no say because this group has no love for the Constitution and the rights it protects. Liz Cheney - nice job!

  • Ms. Cheney is both impressive and CORRECT. The majority of the media (O'Donnell is a spendid example) are in the tank for those that favour a European (read it anti-American if you prefer) approach to world politics. The election of a glib, not so intelligent, cult of personality like Obama is proof that they were a major influence over the last election and in turn the direction we'll take over the next four years. Luckily, in this interview, O'Donnell is no match for Cheney.

  • This is my first time seeing NOD - and my last. This is what passes as valid journalism on MSNBC? lol. Miss Cheney provides facts and reasoned arguments and NOD is biased and closed-minded.

  • Liz Cheney is impressive, I'm glad I saw this . Norah is crude to say the least Rosie jr.

  • Norah has one millionth the cranial capacity as Liz. You are right NatureBoyUSA, MSNBC has lost all credibility of reporting news and chooses to report their agenda. Bummer!

  • I wanna know; who's side she is on? WHy is she trying to indict a VP for being harsh on the comrades of those who took down the WTC? Who's side is our president on? Not mine thats for sure .And unlike Obama Id die for the US.

  • Norah O'Donnell is pretty dumb... No wonder nobody watches MSNBC.

  • Al Qaeda certainly can't be expected to abide by Geneva or the standards thereof, and neither can rogue states. The document is a fucking joke. Of course civilized countries, when they capture detainees, are not going to torture, but since when do rogue states like Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan give a shit about those standards? Didn't Japan, among other things, waterboard our captured troops and do even worse?

I hate these silly treaties like nonproliferation or geneva.

  • Nuclear nonproliferation treaties or geneva are mostly just an affirmation of what we do and don't do as civilized countries in the industrialized world. Obviously rogue states and autocracies don't give a shit. Civilized countries don't need all these treaties telling them what the "rules" of war are since we're already civilized enough to know what's right and what's wrong.

  • MSNBC nice try, what the hell is that, she reads a headline and not the facts, oh they are not a news channel, they read the news to us. lmao And what enemy hasn't tortured our troops??? THIS IS A JOKE!!! Our troops don't get tortured they get executed!!! WAKE UP!!

  • Its not torture!!!
