@Sk8FalIen 450-500hp at the crank is all they can take.so just use boost or nos to get there.but dont go over 500hp at crank.it might not blow at first but main cap walk will tear it down quick.you will need a dss main support for boost apps.you can get a good short block for bout 2000-3000 bucks that can hold up to 850hp at crank.any more than that and the whole car will start to have stress issues.you can get 650hp short blocks for bout 1800-2000 bucks.D.S.S. is the place to shop.D.S.S. wow...I just buy a stock 99 lightning lower manifold and lightning stock M112 I am put it in it with no intercooler I know is dangerous but if blow up it will be forged from buttom to top
I custom designed a manifold to fit the blower and intercooler. I'll hopefully be going to production with the manifold later in the year. Thanks on the congrats, I don't like "easy" horsepower, I feel it should be achieved through work LOL...
your welcome now you can kill most sankes, pretty sick, so did you custom fit it into any manifold or an air typhoon, thats the one i have now, also any internal work or anything else needed for the blower, also did you exchange the fuel pump and injectors and did you use the stock inter cooler the Eaton brought or one that you hang in the front, also how much boost were you running in that dyno run
It's a manifold that I designed. I'm looking at patenting and going to production with it. It utilizes the Cobra blower, intercooler, 39lb injectors, MAF, TB, Heat Exchanger and etc... All in all, it's 90% Cobra take off parts. This run was 12 psi of boost and it's on the stock engine. There are no real supporting mods that need to be done to make this work other than a good exhaust and obviously air intake.
appreciate it also, how much would you have the manifold you produced cause i am willing to buy one, so basically i look on ebay and buy a complete kit, also on the dyno what tuner did you use to tune it?
It started off as a tork tech prototype (their very first manifold). I've got 20+ hours of machine time into the re-design/fabrication to utilize the Eaton M112 versus the Magnason M112 and the OE Cobra Intercooler versus the rear exit Tork Tech intercooler.
So, while I didn't invent this manifold, it is my design...
what mods did you have to do this to accomplish this cause i got an 03 gt and i was planning on doing this during the summer, congrats on not taking the easy way out and swapping with a cobra motor
How many pounds of boost on this set up?

I have a 99 that I would like to do this to. How difficult and costly was putting the cobra blower on 2v heads?

Is the blower ported? and how much boost did it take to make the final numbers
Mine is almost ready to go but i didnt go your route for the manifold.. I m just trying to figure out what pully sizes I should build

why wouldnt you just kenne bell it? that'd be the best way to go.

@FordsBetter516 its a different set up i went the kenne bell route but it depends on how you want to run it.

What size pulley? I'm, doing this build, I just need to know what you got on that.

2.76
edmcandrew 2 years ago
WTF? Thats like 6 PSI over stock! so 8+6 thats 14?
But is it lower because of the 2v?
Im doing this and I want 10-11 PSI.. What do you think, 3.10?
DODODOK 2 years ago
@edmcandrew What are your supporting mods? Looking into this or a turbo build
A4Eaton 7 months ago
@DODODOK how do pulleys work? isnt it the smaller the pulley the more power you get? or the other way around?
paladain55 1 year ago
@paladain55 Smaller pulleys spin the supercharged faster making more boost and more power.

when and if you go into production with your manifold, how will the price compare to tork techs?
jizzo2009 2 years ago
I can't speculate on the price mark just yet (IF I even do it). The sandcasting is extremely expensive.
