@iedhunter44 Pain in ass to maintain if you don't lube it every other time you use it. Learn about the 'Cooldown' effect on you're mags and have some extra parts handy and 4-5 extra mags and they are the coolest thing to have on the field against AEG's. Have a Gas M-4 and an old WE Tech M-1911 and you'll make everyone jealous.

Pros- Realism, Loud and scares opposition, FPS is high, range is better than AEG's, holds value and less moving parts.

Cons-Needs maintenance, not too much dirt...

@CharlieDoan Hi Charlie, I don't live in Japan or am japanese, but i do know that laws regarding firearms and firearm replicas/toys are really strict there. Not sure if possession of a real firearm is legal, but i do know that airsoft guns can NOT be made of any type of metal.

@CharlieDoan many gbbs go for 3-500. Still way to fucking high but they are fun to have. Regular AEGS go for 1-300 which is reasonable if you buy full metal form good companies. Personally, I would only use a gas blow back if im shooting a sniper rifle, not a machine gun. Many AEGs go for much more than 800, and its insane that people accualy but them seeing as they dont last very long. High preformance AEGs go from 500-800+. Hell, ive seen some go for much more than 1-2k. Now thats whats insane

The Magazine Capacity is 50 rounds. This is very low due to two reasons. These are that that if a high-cap magazine were to be fired through this then firstly it would use a huge amount of gas, and secondly there would be a rapid cool-down effect where the gas would basically freeze and affect the guns performance a lot. (Any Airsofters out there who use GBB weapons will know what I am talking about)

It's a neat gun but the guys I know who own one don't use it in games. They are loud so forget about being stealthy. That BB chamber collects dust, dirt and all other crap so prepare to clean it a lot. The recoil is neat but messes with your accuracy not to mention that the gas you put into the magazine doesn't last long so you'll be refilling it way before shooting all your rounds. It's a neat feature just not practical.

Consider this, last weak we had a game in 40 degree weather with some light rain and lots of mud. How do you think this "realistic" GBB gun would have done in those conditions? My JG fires just as good in the heat, cold, rain and snow I doubt this pretty gun at twice the price could do the same. Personally I want a gun that I can use all year long, not just when the weathers nice.

lockpicker2k I totally understand what your saying about the weather. My western arms will not perform too good in cold or damp weather. But lucky for me I live in Texas, one of the hottest places in America. And if for some reason when I play its really cold, thats why I have a back-up gun. Just in case I also have a KWA m4 CQB. Which never fails me.

@lockpicker2k Ahh but look at it this way. You have to learn about you're gas gun magazines. You CAN use a GBB at ANY time of the year if you get the mags COLD, charge them, and warm them up a bit before you start shooting with them. Only new gas mags work without temp changes, older, broke in mags work on the warm/cool effect.

Also, not all airsoft is based on unloading a whole mag on auto. a GBB requires ammo management and a consideration of the cooldown effect. Like keeping temp on a real S

Long trigger pull and expensive gas powered magazines make this gun worhtless. (unless your rich and can afford $80 magazines).

What they should have done is made the magazines interchangeable with other brands, and used the stock tube to hold the gas. Maybe a fill valve right at the back of the stock.
