For the price you spent on both of those consoles you could have upgraded a PC like crazy or just built a whole new one, and PC is online all the time for free no stupid monthly payments, not to mention they do a million more things besides play video games and movies. This card is pretty cool. I am about to buy one in second hand from a friend. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't need super duper graphics. When I am able to play with good graphics and almost no lags I'm happy. I currently have a Radeon 9600XT and it's almost enough for me. But with certain games you need something more powerful.

You should go for a 7800 if you're on a budget, because it will play the next games for like a year or two and in good resolution too, while the 6600 will not be able to in half a year or so.
