I really want the first escape TO witch mountain. It would be nice to see any new bonus features on the making; if they did anything back then. Are they just interviews with the cast still around? It could be good to hear if they talk about filming and all.

I just saw Race to Witch Mountain. It was pretty good but nothing like the original movies or the book. And I just watched Escape to Witch Mountain 1975 with some of my friends tonight :)

lol. Is it weird if the opening credits segment scares me? XD I don't know why...it just really freaks me out. Probably the kids' breath, frantic running, dogs barking and chasing them, and let's not forget the creepy music... XP

Notice how on the new Witch Mountain movie, esp. the movie poster, they focus on Dwayne Johnson's character more than the kids, who really should be focused on, despite Dwayne being the bigger movie star. Does the Rock return to Witch Mountain? No the kids do, but they are making the hero the star, watch him steal the limelight, he already has!! He is already making the rounds at the talk shows! I say the kids should get equal time!! I still hope the movie is somewhat good!!

And, yes, I think you're right. They SHOULD focus on the kids. They're the victims here (in the movie), and they should be the stars! While Dwayne does rock as Jack Bruno (the taxi driver), Seth and Sara (the kids) are the real heroes!! ^_^

Tony & Tia Castaway also had the gift of ESP! That's how they knew about toe truck crash and Aristotle Bolt in the first movie and the falling down of Sickle Wedge in the second.

Extra Sensory Perception proved to be both a curse and a blessing for them! Good job on composing this video w/ the background music!

why in the world did they give Tony such little dialog in the 2nd one - it was mostly boring without his funny responses to everything. He was a great kid actor. I didn't like the mind control idea for the 2nd one, despite the great Christopher Lee being in it. Bette was OK, but had too big a part. Tony should have had more lines, no wonder I didn't like it as much as the first one when I was little.

I remember I saw these movies when I was a child of 8 years old or so. It brings up a memory which does seem strange to me now. After watching the movie, I was believing each of us has such powers. I played with my LEGO bricks and I could make blocks move with my mind. This lasted just a couple of weeks. I completely forgotten that I had this ability after watching this movie.

Yeah, I just watched the 1995 remake of 'Escape to Witch Mountain', and frankly, I despised it. Man, it didn't really even pertain to Alexander Key's book, and it differed from the originals WAY too much!

no they weren't really witches they were aliens but people thought they were witches because of their powers since some people are superstitious and all. So they chase after them with the guy who tries to kidnap them.

Escape to Witch Mounain is one of the best kids movies I've watched as a child. I was only years old when it first showed at the theatre in 1975. I wish more younger people would be able to experience how wonderful a movie like this could be!

Another DVD of Escape to Witch Mountain comes out on Tuesday (3/10/09) just in time for Race to Witch Mountain. BTW Ike Eisenmann is going to be 47 and Kim Richards will be turning 45 this year! Congratulations kids. This will always be a special movie in my heart. I'm 40 and I loved the original movie the most. The music score is incredible too.
