hey there, mine was an 03 x5 4.6is. the running side boards are a must and OEM parts, the wheels are OEM and chromed.  good luck! it was a fantastic car!

For anyone interested, the 4.6 was only made 2002 and 2003. Identical 4.4 - same car, but the 4.6 is a bored and stroked 4.4.Dealer does sell the Aluminum running boards...they are $700, but well worth it. Note...this is actually the fasted X5 made to date. You can get a Dinan S3 package with supercharger for this beast...but Dinan does not do a supercharger for the 4.8. So if your looking to build the fastest X5...This is it!!!

i woulda gone with 22s myself if that wasnt a performance killer...you lose out with acceleration and cornering but you gain it back with COOL FACTOR. X5 on 22's is gonna look hot, no question about that dude

thanks man, it does look amazing, it will arrive soon, i am just worried about the fact that in my country roads are not so smooth, so i might have problems with front suspention, i have already bought running boards:)) you know how it is, an x5 without running boards is half the car:))) anything else i should watch out for? anything u r havin trouble with? does the 22's really affect cornering that much?

ha ha thanks, x5worlddotcom better recognize! the x5 really belongs in cold weather setting though, so either up the mountains or on the east coast, californi heat really dampens the supercharger, the only good time to run it is early early AM when its cold or in the winter time
