What's interesting is that Jon's voice actor sounds like the guy they used in the 1981 special Here Comes Garfield and not like Thom Huge. Frank Welker does an okay job sounding like Lorenzo Music, but I'm most reminded of Bo sheep from US Acres doing his Garfield impression. Odie seems pretty much the same as in the old cartoon. But anyways, this episode reminds me of the Garfield and Friends episode "Maine Course" with the lobster they didn't have the heart to kill.
