Do you know where fascism was invented? Let me help you. It wasn't the US. Right now Europe has more than it's fair share of problems--including Neo-Nazis. Instead of worrying about every wart or mole on the US political scene, why don't you put your amazing education to use solving YOUR problems.
I think the government in this country has done a fantastic job at providing hugh opportunities for everyone in this country to not be in poverty. We all have the same opportunity, as zed4785 pointed out - we are the wealthiest/best nation. It is not the governments job to give to the poor, they provide opportunity, the people (family, friends, Church, organizations) provide help, leadership
1) Its shameful that poverty still exists in the "wealthiest/best nation on earth" 2)After fixing the problem at home, the next step is to get the global community on the same page. Then we can really get stuff done! 3) Just because something seems impossible, doesn't mean we shouldn't try. After all, "impossible" only means its never been done before.
