haha.....u think martin wheeler and kevin secours are delusional and in it for the money??? please go train with them and get your fill of monetary delusions.....
@hentorri i absolutely guarantee that neither martin or kevin could sucessfully use 1 single thing here on myself or any other decent level competitive grappler. If i sparred either theyd both be forced to fall back entirely on their legitimate grappling skills that have nothing to with systema.I know by looking at both theyve got skills from grappling sports.Same with dimitri furman.
@scarred10 They would still use systema striking and other stuff which is not learnt in grappling trainings. Things that are banned in competitions, dangerous in realtime and force sparring. Systema exercises are still great for self defence.I wouldn't limit myself to systema, but certeinly I wouldn't deny it, due to its moving, powerful strike technique, taking hits, flow fight (in these conditions you can train safely for multiply oponents, real enviroment), breathing exercises.
@billysue2 there is no delusion or any stupidity just your misinterpretation of systema and lack of understanding of how it works. Your forgiven for your ignorance but please don't be rude.
@NewEnglandBudo: Nope, just giving credit where it's due. I have trained in many disciplines and like what others have to offer--An edict from my school, "Respect All, Fear None." This man deserves respect; I admire his skills and would love to learn from him if I ever had the opportunity. Just the sameas I look forward to learning more from you my friend.
@NMCK69 I have watched several of Kevin's seminars due to my health. He is an excellent teacher and is able get across his message very well. Several of my deshi study with him. Good Stuff^^^
@NMCK69 youre either stupid or delusional if you think deliberately misleading students into thinking this rubbish is combat effective is worthy of respect.Either that or the chap has lost his marbles,id bet he knows what hes doing and is in it for the money.
Talk is cheap. Get out there and prove it.

Some these second generation instructors are really now getting so good. Systema looks like it will have a very interesting future.
