  • Good tempo contributed to the beautiful flow and natural phrasing. After the climax, I would have liked a much more contrasting, warmer tone and a nice retard especially on the last four notes. The ending was a little too abrupt. The Singers blended beautifully. Very inspiring performance.

  • As someone who spent many years in choir, that must have been a special moment for these performers. One of the most poignant and moving pieces ever written - beautifully performed - I like the tempo. Nothing like being in the middle of a choir when you're making such gorgeous sound. Goosebumps. Makes you wonder what was going through Barber's head when he composed this. It is sumptuous and gut-wrenching at the same time. Great vehicle for the Agnus Dei. Well done folks.
