beautiful arrangement, especially the rhythm part. Obviously the arpeggio is perfect too, but the end result of them together is incredible. I'm trying to do something similar (much less difficult and on the following arrangements: C, F, Dm, G, C, Am, F, G) but at this moment is impossible to me to combine the rhythm and the melody so as you have done.

I'm trying really hard to learn the picking patterns in your videos, and this one in particular gives me so much trouble! I can't get the melody notes to sound out at all... it looks like you're using his claw-downpick to play individual notes, which is near impossible for me. They just come out muted :(

Any tips or insight? This video of your has been my white whale for the past half a year!

Besides watching your vids was one of the reasons that makçde want to buy an acoustic guitar. Now i have a cheapo Epiphone Dr100 and a quite decent sounding Fender Dg 14 solid top with fishman mic . (really big expensive prices in Argentina for Gibsons, Taka`s, Taylor and MArtins, so...). Thanks foy your influence, man!

It seems that you pick the melody notes with your index (if its on the 2 string) or middle (if its on 1 string) with an upstroke (plucking the string) right? Or is it a downstroke? and the you strum with middle? Your right hand worths a million bucks, man!!! SORRY IF I BOTHER with my questions, but your knopfler techniqe is kinda unique and i like unique sounds, and here in Argentina, probably im one of he very few people trying to play like mark... and it makes me feel real special and unique!

I dont use open tuning on this one but mark does - but he doesnt play the melody, only the choeds and some notes in between , the melody is played by the band . since I dont have a band I had to find a way of playing the chords and melody together
