Not sure where he gets his info from but it's a very friendly festival - doesn't even come in a recent top ten of crime related festivals (can't post links in these comments). No-one's been stabbed and no tents have been set alight. We'd lose our license if things like that happened. It will be incredible though - guaranteed! =)

@amgglobalgathering i've been going since the very 1st in 2001, i know the camping didnt start til 2005, but i have never had any problems n this will be my 11th year. the security is good and also helpful. but 1 question global, y no tent for us harder style fans this year? uv dropped a b0llock there

@ukraver We've made a LOT of changes to the festival this year. Some things were dropped to make way for others and the harder style of dance was one of them. We try and cater for many styles but to make way for some of the newer genres of dance music, some had to go, of which the harder end of dance music was one of them.

@amgglobalgathering i retract all previous comments. the security wer feckin useless. ther was a group of bout 30 idiots/nobheads who spent the whole friday camped nxt 2 us hittin ppl 4 the hell of it. security wer informed, anything happen? nope! i ended up spendin the sat nite in hospital as i had a siezure. jus coz i had 2 stay awake as they was threatenin 2 torch the tent n the sun eventually wore me down. 11 yrs global n u cudnt giv a shit. good job creamfields do.

@ploopyfaceplant We billed it as 10 years of Global Gathering. If you consider the concept took a year to create, the first event would make it the first year through to this years 10th event. The 10th 'anniversary' would be next year - I guess it's how you perceive it and it's something we spoke about months before the festival. =)
