DJ AM wasnt the illest but MOST DEFINITELY among the ELITE on the Tables, but DJ AM brought DJ'ing into a whole new light. He took alot of his stylings from Ztrip, Qbert, Atrak and many others. AM himself bowed down in respect to Atrak several times. He was def the most commercial DJ and made the craft Mainstream.

@djicon3 It's a Pioneer 800. The Rane 57 does have effects built into it. I only saw Adam use them maybe 3 times tops. There were tons of remixes and edits of this track, the steve angelo/laidback luke version of this track got the most play. Adam always used the loop function very well in all of his mixes, he uses it here to mix in show me love. This is from summer 09.

@djicon3 Cause it is, you can clearly hear the bit crusher in a lot of his mixes as well as the reverb and LPF. All done on a TTM-57SL. He really used the capabilities of serato from top to bottom. Adam did an awesome job pulling this all together to make a great mix. I definitely miss AM and all of his creativity.

@HunterDay10 Serato have build in sampler, and can easily be connected with several midi devices which trigger the samples. Most of the effects are probably in the mixer. :)
