@privettricker You still go wrong. The real chord is as follow: Put your index finger in the second position third string (G) and your ring finger in the fourth position fifth string (A) and you got it. Good luck.
@jassbo It's obvious what you said. I've just tried to show you the real chord to improve your playing, and by a way your playing is very fine. Try the chord I showed you; first is E7 and second the rare open chord. Could anybody tell me what's the chord name? Jassbo from Lima, PERU
Fantastic cover! Nice to hear not the studio version but a BBC recording (which I also prefer to studio one). Gonna try to cover it with my SG and JTM45... anyway it's AWESOME ;)
@wmprivett You can change the tone just by how you use the pick. For the strum on this one, try a kind of half-pinch harmonic grip on the pick. You strum with equal parts pick and fingers. Also, concentrating the picking mostly on the middle strings gives a full chord sound but you don't get all the sustain from open notes.
Another great Cover/Lesson. Awesome camera work....Do Not Change anything on your production side. It is "PERFECT" just the way you have been putting them out!!! And anybody who asks for a slowed down lesson on one of your works of art... Well, if you can't see exactly what is going on (both hands) with this...you're probably not ready to play it (yet) anyhow. This is in "Lesson" format already... Good job!!
The second chord is wrong.

@jassbo I have an idea. Why don't we both just play it the way we feel like playing it?

1:33 I see you're used to using your treble pickup for solos and neck for rhythm. Or at least in songs where you need to switch pickups

a bit on the Punk approach side but its nicely done...it works more as a rhythm section type of deal
